Ben started playing the piano and writing songs as a young teenager growing up in the Shropshire countryside. He went on to study Contemporary Music at the University of Central Lancashire where he developed his distinctive production techniques, using conceptually relevant found-sounds along with choirs of sweeping voices to provide a sonic backdrop for his stark, acoustic compositions.

He helped fund his studies by performing off-the-wall versions of popular songs & jazz standards in local pubs and hotels in his spare time. After graduating with first class honours Ben moved to Manchester where he has been writing & performing new material as well as producing songs for several short films. He is currently in the process of completing his first album which is being released on My Dad recordings later this year.
