Born and raised in the “Show Me State” streets of Kansas City, Missouri. Here come the new hip hop rap style artists that have created a stylistic sound that will wow the music industry. CJ, Christopher Johnson, born April 6, 1986, and Benji, Thomas Clark, born April 4, 1986. The two became long-time friends while participating in the church choir at Temple of Faith Missionary Baptist church. CJ is the manager of the sound room at the church and Benji is the musician for the youth choir. The two started creating sounds and making music in the year 2003, in the shared bedroom of CJ’s house. They started off using keyboards and the program “Fruity Loops III Demo”. Since they could not afford the real fruity loops III version, they had to improvise by resetting the computer clock because the demo version would expire every 30 days.
