Catapillar Silk formed in Miami in 2004 as a trio looking to create music that was a hybrid of Hip-Hop and Frank Sinatra. Since that time they have evolved into a four-member band playing an overdriven funk. Revolving around genius bass work, the music is upbeat and thick, clever and original. After two independently produced EP's, Catapillar Silk is working on their first full length album to be released in the summer of 2006.
