Diane. Thank you for your useful review of Dr Jazz. Your coments are very useful. The song started out as a Minor Blues tune and somehow developed into a jazzier thing. Maybe that's why the lyrics seem awkward. Regards. David

Hey Diane, Welcome to Broadjam! Also, thanks to the very thoughtful review of my composition, "Earthways". It is the title track to my new age/jazz meditation CD, "Earthways". The tracks are longer and repetitive to instill a state of peaceful bliss (dang, sounds good to me, too! {:? D). That said, I can see why you "got" the song after reading your quote below. My PhD in music was based on the effects music and musical vibrations have one our physical and spiritual well-being. Stop by and listen to more if you like.
