Thank you so much for your kind review of our song Vierne's Return. We also like your song Baby Lullaby #1. Nice sound!!! The wife wrote our song and I'm not sure which stop she used. We are right now considering buying a pipe organ. A friend of ours took us to a place where they had hundreds of antique instruments. Pipe organs, harmoniums, pianos, harpsichords, harps, and much more. They had warehouses packed full of this stuff. If you go on our Facebook page (Rusty and Sparky Lynne Newcomer) and look at our album Wayside Museum I have posted about 90 pictures from there. They are trying to sell everything. They also have a forty foot trailer with over 30 organs in it. This was the private collection of a pastor who has passed away. Check it out!!! Rusty and Spark (Signal 30)
beyond the beauty of your compositional skills, I wish you and yours and all who you regard as dear are safe from the firestorm that has ravaged the west coast. be safe and have a thankful thursday.
Peter, thank you. I was just outside, and still must wear a mask... It's not over yet... I appreciate you extending all the love. Thank you again..
hopefully the upcoming rain event will do more good than harm - stay safe
Thanks so much for a kind review (Very thorough!) and score on "Remember When". An older song with more samples that weren't available today! Thanks so much!
I thoroughly enjoyed "The Long Walk Home" and many other pieces you created. You are frighteningly talented.
Thank you for being so kind. I greatly appreciate it!
Steve, thanks for putting up with me. :-) I really enjoy your music. Thanks again for creating!
Nothing to put up with! It's a pleasure to connect with fellow musicians!
Hey! I'm not sure that I sent my message a few weeks ago... Feel free to use the review. No worries! Edmond
Thanks Edward! I really appreciate it.
Hi Edmond, A Big Thank You for your review on "Realm" much appreciated and noted.
Glad it was helpful. Love your work.
Hey there...a couple of points *thanks for the honest, direct reviews *I suggest that you checkout the Billboard Alternative Charts to see what alternative rock means today (Portugal The Man, lovelytheband, et al). *If Katy Perry wants to sing one of our songs, like we say in Colombia..."a la orden" *Keep up the good work!
Glad to know you appreciate the reviews. You might be right about revisiting what alt rock means now. I grew up in the days of Nirvana and the Seattle sound, so my idea of alt rock is probably not up to date. Thanks for the good advice!
a su orden, mijo
Doug, been too long. Following up on a request I saw...To Be Alive@ 0:58-- spread the chord (10ths) then bring back together. 1:43 can French horn give way to oboe? 2:07 are the strings doing a tremelo? try straight bow... could a trumpet double the French Horn here? The violin is solo and high... I would personally use an ensemble, or bring the violin down and try doubling with another instrument, like clarinet or flute, experiement. Very nice piece of music!
Congrats on the top 10 ol' friend.
Fred, too funny... you review a song of mine, and gave it a funny title about an alligator and a few other things walking into a bar... it was written for a film that was set in a bar, with a number of folks were misfits who found comfort in that bar... amazing. Love your music!!
Hi Edmond. Thanks so much for the awesome review of I Can't Complain. Would it be ok if I put your review on our cdbaby page? The review will be credited in your name? Thanks again!
folks, you may use the review on CD baby. No worries. Very nice work!
Hello! Yes, surely! you can use that review. Glad it's helpful. Love your work!
Chip, Thank you. Sometimes life beats a person down, and its so very difficult to stand up... and then someone acknowledges your work, your heart... I needed to hear your critique. I needed that, and I thank you... thanks.
Thank you very much for the support! I really appreciate it. Waiting for more from you! All the best Alexander!
Thank you!!!
Lawrence, I haven't forgotten! 2 deaths, and a couple of other changes, boy, they hit me hard. I'm back in the saddle, and riding hard. I'll be back at you with a great track in a few days.
I have a new track i finished yesterday>Ever After.Thanks Don
Hi Edmond. If there's a favor I might ask, because I respect your composition expertise so much, would you mind checking out my latest work, "To Be Alive", and let me know some critique of any glaring issues that come up for you? As well, if you can give me an idea of an emotional descriptor or perhaps a scene theme you see it best fitting, that would be most helpful as well. Cheers, Doug
Hello, thanks for your very constructive feedback on my "English" song, "Little Swedish Clogs"! I'm on soundcloud, if you want to check out some of my other music. It's mostly classical children's instrumentals, and a few art songs. https://soundcloud.com/christina-ly ons-7 Best, Christina
I was just going over your review of "Astral projection." You and I should share a coffee or a good scotch... Perhaps a wine? I can't thank you enough for such a flattering assessment of my abilities. You humble me... I know there are those who could teach me endless possibilities beyond my current understanding. And surely... I would be no where without the lessons of those that came before me. I didn't build this thing... music. I am merely a benefactor of the great souls that have shaped the roads I travel. The roads I take thanks to their efforts? Well... They may be my own, but I will never take the credit solely as my own. I stand on great shoulders... As such. I appear tall:( I thank you though... Your words bring a great deal of comfort to my mind, I thank you for your participation in the Broadjam review greatly. Best wises always, N
I wish I could give Onion John ten stars!
Lawrence, you're very kind! Also, got your email with the files... I'm leaving the country for two weeks for a show... When I get back, I'll have lots of time, and I'm excited to dive into your piece. Thank you for allowing me to work with your music!! It really is an honor!
You got to be kidding! Have a good trip. lkb

Hi Edmond... it's always a pleasure to run into one of your works for sure. Chance? I think not! Take good care bud, Billy
Thanks Edmond, for your kind and accurate review of Cannon on the Lord's Prayer! Take care, DeDe :)

Thanks for the thorough review on "Enlightenment". Great thoughts for me to hear.
Hi Edmond, Thank you very much for your review of my song "March of the Militant". Such a nice comment that you couldn't get the melody out of your head.... tnx. I must have tapped into something on that song because I'm a rhythm guy not really as strong on the melodies. yes the marching snare drums really worked on that piece, I feel I copped a really special vibe. Thanks for hearing and feeling where I was coming from. There is room for improvement but the fact that you were more influenced by the positive aspects is encouraging. Thank you, Dave - CenterPeace
thank you for your music! You really did tap something. Very memorable!
Thanks for your kind, gracious and informative (as always) review of At Peace, Edmond. I've only been at this music composition thing for not quite two years, as two years ago is when i discovered DAW's and MIDI libraries. So you have know idea how much like gold certain comments are to me. Stuff like "Consider a mastering production dip at 450 to bring out aspects of the instruments more. Thank you so much. Mixing and mastering is such a profound artform of its own that I'm still in the learning stages of so i so appreciate comments like that. Is that a common mastering thing to consider for my classically-oriented pieces - a dip at about the 450 mark?
There are certain 'formulas', if you will, for mastering that are a great start. I learned my mixing and mastering from Brian Bell and Alex Casanegras. They were great mentors. What I've found is that using something like Waves L2 at the very end of the chain provides much of the clarity one might want... you still have to make sure to not let it compress the track too much (volume adjustments, etc.) Just ahead of that is the key item: another Waves product, or something like it -- the Waves Linear MB. Here's a good YouTube description of the item. https://goo.gl/hccnhb. What you can also do is use a multiband EQ and, creating notches a certain frequencies, set them narrowly, almost notched, and them play with placing them at certain places in the frequency spectrum. That type of experimentation will set off all sorts of lightbulbs!
Very cool Edmond. Would love to connect sometime. Until then, I hope wonderful things happen for you in a music business sense. Your talent is undeniable, and your charity with reaching out to help others is worthy of some really good karma coming your way :-)
muse - song starting nicely fresh - at the end feels loosing a bit track of the melody - great piano playings -
Thank you, Oskar! I wanted to leave the ending unfinished, bare... Thank you for your review!
Doug --I Still Need You --what a great song!! That's close to AOR / Modern Rock heavy rotation IMO. And even a touch of Alt Country. Nice!!
Thanks so much Jeff! I know you don't blow smoke up people's asses so a compliment like that from you always means so much to me. :-) I hope you are keeping well.
ha ha and you don't mince words! ;) I think it's so important to support one another at all times but be clear when we're giving participation medals and when it's a heartfelt "Wow". Generally I don't care for Nathaniel's terminator sounds but the bridge on that collab is a definite wow. It's always such a lift when a song breaks from listenably good to breathtaking. I really admire your craft, tenacity, and persistence; gotta stop by more often to listen!!
I just reviewed "At Peace" (geez, i hope I checked all the boxes all the way down...) I should've known it was you!! that's too funny. Great piece of music!
Thanks Edmond, That's quite a compliment if you are recognizing a style of mine to the point where you think "I should have known it was you" :-) You missed some boxes but who cares, it was a nice high-percentage score :-)
Doug, So happy you landed that lucrative placement with Abatido. It is beautiful by the way. Do you get the whole sync fee or do you have to split it? Congratulations!!!
Thanks Brian. They have to test it to see if it fits with the timing of the scenes for the placement and then they'll contact me. So I'll have to wait and see. Thanks for the congratulations though :-)
Good to see one of my friends having success. Hope it works out. Let us know. Peace.
Thanks Brian. I love it whenever any of us common submitters on here gets some modicum of success. We all understand dearly what a grind the business aspect of music is for all of us. Anyone's success holds out such hope for all of us in my eyes. Thank God the music we make is so good for our souls. :-)
Doug, Thank you for the review of 'Euphoria' ! I'd be interested to know what additional instruments you heard, and then I'll have a go at orchestrating it! I appreciate you time and effort. Very helpful. You have fueled more imagination!
Definitely woodwinds of some kind - I'm thinking some type of clarinet perhaps? Your musicianship with the piano is breathtaking by the way. I wish my fingers could do what your can :-) Such a wonderful talent your piece Euphoria shows off in you.
Thank You for a wow review, and understanding me as a human, a fisherman at that! Your music is reeeaaal goood! My strings above g treble to way above treble, no one wants to hear. Again, I appreciate your comments very much. lkb
Lawrence, Thank you for your kindness and your music. I truly enjoy your writing!
Hello Edmond, Thank you for the inspiring review of "Emperor of China". I appreciate your thoughtful insights and concise critique. The prospect of collaborating to raise this work to another level is quite uplifting. I've listened to your work and am certain that you are the exactly what this piece needs. Let me know if you would like me to email you a copy. Thanks again................... kenney
