Thank you for your feedback. This is one of my older submissions & my productio skills hgave improved greatly. I'm slowly getting around to fixing up & handling over to engineers to increase the quality. I really appreciate your insight. The best to you & your music.
Hey thanks---Have a great Thanksgiving.
thanks for the song review of "i've noticed you". i'm going to hit the 'friend' button, so watch for that... warm regards, kenm write on/rock on!
Hey Ken---Great to get your feedback----Anxious to here more stuff---good luck to you
I'll check out your songs Clint----thanks for talking, Mickey
Hey Mickey, Thanks for the nice review of the instrumental version of my song, "I Was Dreaming". I liked your observations. This is actually an instrumental version of a song with lyrics. Stop by and give the song with lyrics a listen at my site. It is currently a Top Ten song at Broadjam. I always make an instrumental version of any song I write so I can submit it to soundscape and sound track licensing opportunities. Best of luck with your music! Chet Nichols
Hey Brian, thanks for your critique of my son Nowhere Kinda Road. You put a lot of effort in it ,and I appreciate your feedback I really can't afford a big band sound---I'm an old retired guy---Just hoopin' someone will enjoy them enough to record it on their own--in the meantime I'll practice my lyrics---I get your point! Thanks
You are welcome Mickey. You have a great hook and a good start.
Hi Michael. Many thanks for your review of 'With You - instrumental'. I never intended to post it but took some advice from another BJ member who said it doubled his opportunities, which I can understand. Your comments are much appreciated. All the best from a freezing cold England. Matt
Michael, thank you for your review of my track "Fireside"...I think you might have truly missed what the song is written for as you do not write hooks or strong melodies for short pieces for film. All my tracks are soundtracks and written as such except some of my early stuff. Good luck. ~Will
Thanks for taking the time to review my song Heavenly! Your time and feedback are greatly appreciated
Will, if I would have known that your song FIRESIDE was written as a short piece for a film--I would have changed my comments---I was evaluating it as a complete song package==sorry ---keep those tunes a comin' Good luck
Hi Michael, Thanks for your review of Sorry that I Made You Cry. I'm encouraged you like the melody. My vocals were not great when I recorded this due to health problems, but I hope to re-record it later. I note your point about reverb. I'm still a bit green when it comes to recording! Best wishes Phil.
Listened to "Beautiful Woman"; very lovely song. Especially love the harmonies. Just really like close harmonies. Again, very lovely. Will listen to more sometime. I like country music very much.
Thank you Kathy, I wrote the song for my wife---we've been married for 42 years---This song kinda helps to put me on her good side---ha!
You are a wise man! I have written several songs for my husband. I will have been married 39 years this spring. One of my songs - "Who Knows You" was written for my husband to sing to me - which he never will - I have a sense of humor as you can see.
Sometimes we get an encouraging word on a tough day. Your review of "The Fledgling came at that time. I especially appreciated the fact that you do not listen to much classical music. Thank you.
Hey Kathy, thanks for the feedback
Thanks for the encouraging review of 'El Ritmo'. Be glad to hear your thoughts on my other pieces. Joe
Thanks for reviewing my song Brothers Sisters---you put a lot of effort in this----I wish I could afford to record my stuff professionally, but I'm stuck with my home computer and some inexpensive software with pre programmed chords where i can add instruments and adjust style and tempo----My hope is that another musician or artist can recognize the song without the background flaws and record it on their own---thanks again, Mike
Thanks for reviewing storm. Fair comments and working on improving those aspects you pointed out. Your answer to Davids question below is useful to me as well as I need to upgrade my studio as well.
Thanks for the review Anita---I needed something psoitive and it helps me to keep on writing-----good luck foxy lady!

Hey PGO - see you are up there at #2 in the contest. Stay in there my friend! Wishing you the best of luck - Till.
LOL - thanks Till - did you ever notice that each time you mention my doing well I suddenly drop in the standings. hahahaha. just kidding and I do appreciate the support. truth be told, the leaderboard is such a crapshoot. it won't be until Monday 12/05 when all the reviews will be fully tallied. in the meantime, Till, please allow me to also wish you continued success in both the leaderboard and Steinberg 20 - as always, pgo
See you up there, my friend! :-)
Good luck til---That's only till your 93---Your on your own after that!!!-----Cool song---fun words!
Glad your staring to get noticed You deserve it! I think you're the real deal! By the way I misspelled part of your song title (Know instead of Now) --Do you believe I was a school teacher! Hey get an agent fast--rock with it now!
I didn't even notice the spelling... I just appreciate the words of encouragement... thank you. :-)
Hey Susan--Have you had any of your songs published?-- Do You Love Me Know--is most definitely marketable!
Thank you Michael. I am really a newbe to this business, so I am hoping... I did get my first lucky break with the original version of "Do You love me Now?". It's in an indie film called "Detour". It has its opening on Friday. It's also in the "considered songs" list for another opportunity. The acoustic version just won the top peer rating for an opportunity. It was downloaded along with four other songs for that opportunity. I would love to get it. We'll see... I am hoping. Thank you for your encouraging words. You know, when we work like this, it sometimes feels like we are working in a bubble. Good feedback is a real gift... so thank you again.
Hey Mike, thanks for listening to "Do You Love Me Now?" acoustic. I'm glad that you like it. I hope that you have a beautiful holiday. Thank you again. My best, Susan
Hey Susan--Have you had any of your songs published? If not---Man that's just not right! Thanks for your time--Mike
That's just real nice to hear. Thank you again, Michael.
Cool rockin' blues Shay!--Love it-- Best to lyou, Mike
Thanks Michael for the review on I Can't Control Myself. It was actually written and demoed 29 yrs. ago. I wrote the lyrics and Jimmie Crane (who wrote many hits in the 50s and 60s wrote the melody. He is now deceased and I have moved on to other things but it was a pleasure to write with him. Again thanks for the listen Ed Dunn
Thanks Mike for the great review of Will You Be there. Really appreciate you taking the time to give it a good listen and to pass on your positive comments. All the best, Pete.
Hey--Thank you so much for your review of ALL ALONE AGAIN -sometimes songwriting can be frustrating--but reviews like this help alot! Mike
thanks Mike for the review of Licorice Popcicle.... yes, it has been used for tv shows, movies, etc. over the years. It was recorded back in 1970 at my studio across from Warner Bros. in Burbank, Ca. for use with the NBC TV show "On Campus". My studio partners were Lefty Baker [of the pop group Spanky and Our Gang, and Bill Broughton [ #1 trombonist for all studio work in the U.S. ]. NBC needed a quick ditty for the opening... written and recorded in about 30 minutes.
