THANK YOU FOR REVIEWING MY SONGS, I APPRECIATE YOUR COMMENTS. I AM NEW AT RECORDING SO I AM STILL A BIT INTIMIDATED BY THE SOUND OF MY VOCALS THROUGH A MICROPHONE BUT I WILL GET BETTER. TAKE CARE AND KEEP THE MUSIC GOING. RON WATKINS.

Hi , Thank you for the kind review ... Best ,
Hi RoZi, thanks for reviewing "This is My Life". Ya, the recording was really the tough part...it was a zero budget so we gathered two Roland Edirols and recorded live in a friend's living room. You should have heard it before it was mastered (sucked bad!)....but where it is now is about as far as I can take it, so I'm happy.
i think that overall it's a good sound, just because it fits the atmosphere of the song, to my opinion. you can actually get a good sound quality recording in a living room, it's just a matter of experience. Good Luck!
The livingroom lent itself naturally to a warm sound...it was all a matter of placing the Edirols, that was the experimental part. And it was fun recording live like that...now that we are more experienced I think the Edirols will continue to be part of my now and future (until the next generation of 'something' comes around) :D
