Hi Enzo, thanks for your review! nice tunes here;)
good stuffs here BTW only one thing I could imagine better ...anywhere you stop during a tracks (forexample Oh Yeah 2 times during a track )and add some guitar after that sould be be stronger in my oppinion otherwise great works

my pleasure:)
interesting category for EKG (Extended) its not a Trip Hop.its just bad to see so many style submitted for Trip Hop music.
Hi Roy I am just wondering might would be good idea to open a forum on broadjam? I think would be fun.also everyone could share tricks and useful informations about technical stuffs and peoples could have conversations without thinking about writing into anothers comments.. many musicans have different skills and some of them living into their small world.. ?
Sheever, Thanks for your suggestion. We have talked about forums and continue to discuss. I would love to know if others would be interested as well.....All the best, Roy
Absolutely on the forum! Would give the entire community a chance to offer feedback, suggestions and announcements, that benefit all.
Count me in also
Yes, definitely!
I agree, it would be a good chance to bring the community together, as and when needed. Often I have needed to bounce ideas and something like a forum would give me the opportunity. Melsi
Sounds good.
One Last time is a great track...congratz;)
Hi Roy so many people here impossible to check all member...so I am just wondering to ask: might You know any singering with French language? thanks
Sheever, Thanks for the note. Go to the search engine and select Songs. Once the song search page returns, select advanced song search, then choose the language drop down menu and select French. There are lots of french language songs on Broadjam and this should help you find a good singer......Hope this helps....Roy
great,Thanks Roy.
I wrote some songs in French, and I sing in French as well! :)
Check out Beau Soir and Spleen by Brooke Pulin on my page....

hey, good sounds here:) especially loved Extreme Dandger I could imagin some more work on that.would really worth!like give a shoulder with Choirs and adding a new channel pattern by pattern to being have more emotional end and full chatarsis. good instrument use but might need better samples somewhere.
Hi Roy I ve found this comment and I think its interesting and I am curious what is your answer: ghostblack305 posted 2 weeks ago to your connection str.productions Hello Broadjam It seems to me like this is just a quick way to make money. No one calls you for your music, and some of the songs that makes it, nobody can really confirm it. We dont know what show, the title of the show, and what time it airs. Please help us confirm some of these shows? Credits means everything to a artist and producers. without it paying money for nothing is a waist of time. Thank you:
Sheever, Thanks for the note....Libraries and some networks (who have their own library) will license songs for a future use. This is pretty common in today's market.....You can use this in your credits. Make sure you are affiliated with a PRO......One other note. If you are uncomfortable with any deal that is presented, then don't sign it. You always have that option.....Hope this helps.....Roy
I wish there was a fine print section for opportunities where the paperwork has already been established. Give us a chance to take a look at the end game paperwork we'll need to sign to do business. Might save us the cost of a submission you know?
Ahhhhhh, The joys of the music business ;)
Haha... yep:)
hey sheever, i have had many film and TV placements .. the music supervisors dont always notify you when using your music if it is pre cleared but they do fill out a tip sheet and you get credit from your PRO sometimes 9 months later but . every three months you get a pretty accurate printout of all the placements which you can use for your credits..hope that helps
Good advice.
Thanks Margaret that was useful information! Regards
Ah,how do you mean Pro The membership type? My one is the highest membership type Thanks
Sheever, Margaret is talking about her Performing Rights organization such as ASCAP, BMI SESAC etc. If you license your music you should be listing all your tracks with one. Joining ASCAP is free ! Who would think you could get something for nothing in the music biz ! www.ascap.com
thanks Kace good commun here and nice Peoples. I can not join to Ascap as I am in London. but I am Registered I am waiting for my contract at the moment. Thanks guys!
Sheever, I'm glad you're registered and thanks to Kace, Margaret and Protilius for helping out. You are right, we are thankful to have such a great community of artists who are willing to help one another.....Best of luck to ya, Roy
I feel myself lucky as I ve found Wise Dilla Who is the most talented MC I ve ever working with so far..
Hey Roy, I've got a question about how I will be notified about the Mastering Services I acquired last Friday, Aug. 20th. Will they be contacting my regular e-mail address, or will they contact me via Broadjam?
E-Dilla, Thanks for the note. Craig Anderton, our mastering engineer, will be contacting you and requesting the appropriate materials.....BTW: We have been working with him for just about a year now and our members have been very satisfied with his work. Let me know how your project turns out.....Best of luck, Roy
I sent an email on Sunday, 8/22, at 4:19PM Mountain Time to the "wisedilla" email address (I'm assuming that's you!). The email contained instructions on how to send me the files. Please check for an email with "Broadjam Mastering" in the subject header.
yes
What tools they have for mastering? I am just courious.
A ton...from plug-ins/digital audio editors (both Mac and Windows) to outboard analog hardware. I'm very much into choosing the right tool for the right job.
what analogue outboard sir?
difficult to choose for the music style.dont get me wrong I just would like to know the method behind. I am not beginner either nut to doing masstering for my taste I dont trust anyone can do Sir. plugins make the final too creamy.somewhere thats ok.but not for dry rockmusic forexample Kasabian last album.I wish to know what is on that album even I am not into Rock music. thanks
You can't really generalize about plug-ins, they have very different sounds. For outboard, one fave is the Dolby 740. Fantastic. Also the Aphex tube EQ that reduces the Miller effect. Very clean, but sweet.
lots of people I ve seen these days to do mastering work with Behringer and and all cheap gears. I ve a friend with Neve and Manley.I never heard so punchy kick what Hes done on my track.
I am using Nebula at the moment for finalize with Michaels R2R tape presets from Otari and studer. Focal 115HD EQ preset, and the anagueinthebox Mommoth Eq. I would say the quality is better than ~UADs. might you interested in. the plugins call it Nebula and based on Volterra kernel.better than IR. loads of famous gear was sampled so far by mastering engineers. about Nebula: http://www.acustica-audio.com/index .php?option=com_content&view=articl e&id=23&Itemid=99 gear sample packs: http://cdsoundmaster.com/site/nebul asoftware.html http://www.alessandroboschi.eu/html /en/alexbprograms.htm check the responses on Gearslutz. You need Nasas computer to run lots of instance of nebula but the quality is impresive. for quick software master I ld say IK multimedia Tracks the best I ve heard.
I thought compare the prices you work with Massive Passive at least.sorry but I just feel this too much for software master.
What people are paying for is expertise, and proprietary techniques that others don't know. These sometimes involve working at the sample level, as well as with 8,000+ stages of FIR EQ--techniques that are simply not possible with analog mastering. The sonic results speak for themselves; just ask the people whose music I've mastered.
but nothing will give you the harmonics of analogue gears.not accidentaly cost those gears so much. anyway I understand you. thanks
I definitely agree. That's why sometimes I do all the surgery and difficult fixes in digital, but use outboard analog gear for the final "sound." Now, if I could just convince people that MP3 files are NOT suitable for mastering!!
LOL it shouldnt be a question at all. btw the PLP Air EQ one of the best software eq for surgical work and there is an AAMS mastering technology to do touchups and compare to reference styles.very useful software.might worth U to take a look too... btw if you need to do fixes is too bad. peoples needs to understand You cant work with bad mixes. links: http://www.curioza.com/ http://refinedaudiometrics.com/prod ucts-plpareq.shtml
Jamaican groove: pro instrument usement here.I can here the improvisation and the freedom during the composing:) good bridges and conncetions between parts Get some good vocalist Mike.Your tracks have potential defo that would give you an extra 30%. 4 out of 5 and the previous also 4 out of 5 the quality of instruments needs more attention.lots of great soundbanks-sample collections out there.
Thanks. I am exploring all genres and having fun, more software upgrades are coming. I like your piece 'Lonely' very emotive. I dont really do electronic myself but from what I hear of yours, you know what its about. You have great sounding recordings. Mike.
thank you.Greatly aprecchited for sounding professionaly need good instruments. Your songs could sound better easily with better instruments-samples and U dont need to work longer at all.I just see your good ideas and can hear the same track the same tunes with better instruments.could be fantastic. PS. Use more drumms-Orchestra percussion for give more strenght your emotion changes.
thanks for Lonely..that especially was played and recorded in 1 hour.if the emotion went through I am happy. thats my purpose.
Passage to eden I like from 1.40.min nice move with emotions,at the beggining I feel the flute as too strong and the freqs. hurt my ears on the long releases..I wouldnt build song at the flute I ld rather use Harpsicord which is an amazing instrument.or might would be enough to turn the flute boosted freqs in the mix a bit down apart from that is likeable and gave me more feelings than the previous track.
Thanks I'll check on some of yours. Mike.
sure I have 1.classs priority of the emotions ehat I wanna give all others just secondary.I ll never do surgical cuts on freqs rather try to keep the way as it sound itself. especially live instruments. I like the piano in dark way and playing lightly no brighness needed for sad emotions forexample. but its just my way.
just a note to say I forgot to mention that it is not a flute it is an english horn on that part
Hi Mike thanks for the Review. I ll shoot the ball back here I cant directly Write a review of the The Viking Soldiers song unfortunately... so good theme, littlebit Mid East feeling I rather fitt into some Aladdin kinda movie the soundset can be polished up sounds like General Midi soundset. otherwise ok. 3 out of 5
Thanks sheever,appreciate it. Regards Mike.
I've got it.
Modern Days is great,I like it! I could imagine some long release echo in the verses sometimes where is the end of the line. the Band very well sticked together.nice work. I miss some littlebit more originality in the faster tracks. forexample "Believe" this band much better than following standards.
Hi Sheever. Thanks for the comment. Some of the faster cuts I was imagining a power trio. My next cd I'm working in more synth sounds. heard your cuts, that's some moody shiz. Cool! The Sugar Pups, James
thanks for the review. I am glad you like it.more will come soon. I ve checked your stuffs.here is some oppinion. good ideas I liked the vibe of No Land is a Desert firstly tell your vocalist :be Brave!vocal needs smash in the face all the time. otherwise the production ll sit down. work a bit more on your tunes and samples. I can hear really good ideas with samples indeed but need an extra 10% touchup to stick them together. finally allways try to use fxs in the background even if its just coming in and out. the track ll be thicker and more happening. thanks keep on;)
Cool, Thanks.
