Thank u for taking the time to review "No One Loves Me Like U Do". Appreciate it!
Thank you for review of Over Easy! Am always tinkering, will look at snare. Thanks! :)
Pleasure, man! Ping me if there is a new version. Will be keen to listen to it again.
Yup, I softened snare a bit. Other small improvements, pretty subtle stuff really, going after realism. I added myself applauding myself at end, Ha! :*} -- I am always tweaking, no end in sight it is seems. -- Best to you!!
Thanks for the review. What does FMCG stand for? MrsKate
Fast Moving Commercial Goods. So, basically consumables.
never heard that term before. The Mommy Song is one that I have used w/ Children's choirs, teaching them to sing it for their mommies on mother's day. Sadly we could not do it this year because one of the little girl's mommies died and it would have been too painful for her and her daddy. So very sad...
Yeah, that is sad! But the concept of having this sung by kids for their moms is awesome!
Hi Bhaskar, thanks for your kind review of my song Dimitri. This piece was written as an orchestration reel for a silent movie, that's why it has all those mood changes. All the best, Voya
How cool!!!
Thank you, sir, for your thoughtful review of Blue Chalkin'!
Thanks for adding me! All well in these horrid times, I trust? I am a novice, and I seek your advice: for scoring trailer music (you might try my song DarkEpicTheatrical), I have so far only used very silly instrumentation, to first try my hand. If I wanted to get slightly more sophisticated without spending too much money, what would you recommend, please? I am a Windows person, by the way, and I use Cubase. Cheers, Bhaskar
Hi Bhaskar, thanks...all well! Hope you too. I would check out Native Instruments for low price additions to your library. And if you wish to go more sophisticated it's worth looking into libraries from East West, Vienna Symphnic Library or Spitfire Audio. And then it takes some programming ;) Hope that helps. All the best, Voya
Thanks for the inputs, very much appreciated! Are there any courses (programming, arranging, etc.) that you would recommend? Or any individuals you know who would offer such knowledge (at a price, of course)? Cheers, Bhaskar
Hi Bhaskar, there are plenty of courses. Berklee Online has a very strong Online Programm with any kind of courses, from Composition to Arranging to Production, even DAW-specific. Would definitely check out Berklee. Thinkspace Education has some good online courses as well. Hope that helps. Greets, Voya
Thank you so much for that awesome review. Good suggestion but I think I ended with an arpeggio. I have to listen. All the best, Felice Kaye-Cooper
Hi, Many thanks for your kind review of Ireland's Eye. I must admit I never thought of it as having a Wham feel, that's interesting. It is intended as a twist on Gaelic music and the wind instrument you hear is not sax but the traditional uilleann pipes, made popular during the time Riverdance was in vogue. Twinning the guitar and pipes was an experiment to blend modern sounds with traditional, this explains why it probably wasn't what you were expecting. Thanks again for a good review. Good luck with your projects. Bob
That explains it!!! :-)
Hi, thank you so much for that fantastic review. I agree about dynamics. This piece was played before I hit my Roland Fantom G8. All the best, Felice Kaye-Cooper
Nice! Any song where I can listen to some of your magic with the G8?
Hi, Thanks for connecting! In your review of my piece DarkEpicTheatrical, you mention that I should upgrade my beat kit or producer pack. What would you recommend, please? I use Cubase on WIndows, by the way. Cheers, Bhaskar
This would be a much better question for a producer. The sounds seem like they are in need of an upgrade though
