Hi Mrs. Kate, thanks for reviewing my song "She's So Seventeen", I'm glad you like it! I had six members of the high school chorus record the ending chorus with me. Such fun! I don't typically write this type of song and haven't marketed it much.
It is,a great song. When I recorded porch swing CD I got some kids from a Jacksonville high school choir you add black gospel sounding background vocals on 2 songs. Fun stuff. Your friend in Florida Mrs Kate

Hi Carol Ann, Thanks for the very kind and fine review of my song, "Honky Tonk Rock n' Roll". I am very happy you enjoyed it....it 'tis a fun song. This comes from my CD, "Lucky Man" back in 1997. Hard to believe that the recording is 20 years old and done on an 8-track Tascam Porta-Studio. I stole some of George Martin's (The Beatles) 8-track bouncing that he used in his early stages. Anyway, so glad you liked the song and gave it such high marks... My Best, Chet Nichols PS Dairy farmer, eh? Then I REALLY suggest that you stop by my site and listen to my song, "I'm The Ice Cream Man". Seventeen years old and GLUED to her cell phone while the musicians were working. I turned to a friend and said, "She's so seventeen.."and my friend said, "That should be a song!" Thank you for reviewing my song, "Goin' to Hell With My Handbag" I wrote it after a bad morning on the farm, my husband said, "Today's gone to hell in a handbag and I'm going back to bed!" I went on line and googled "handbags" and came up with this tune to turn the day around.
Well, it worked, judging by the song.
I have added three songs to my Broadjam library! Enjoy! I have many more to add!

I have been so busy I haven't logged in in a long time. An email sparked me to log in today. A request for music for an Alzheimer's documentary on Netflix. I've been singing for Alzheimer's patients and patients with other forms of dementia and illnesses for the past six years. It has been such a wonderful experience! I have become certified in the Music & Memory program customizing iPod playlists for people suffering from dementia. I want to remind my fellow songwriters to sing for people in need! Music is so powerful to bring a little light into their darkness. Thank you!
