Hi Paul. Thanks for taking the time to listen to IQ and provide your feedback. You mentioned that the mix needed to be tweaked slightly to bring out the melody and countermelody. Can you point out what section you're referring to? Great tunes on here as well. I like what you're doing on Sultan.

Ok, Here is my 2 cents worth. This is a GREAT tune!!! I love the groove. The Intro is fantastic (it grabs you from the beginning. Then at 0:16 The string line should be louder . It should be saying here comes the song. Immediately after that the synth needs to come up. I can hardly hear it and it is a great line. The Mix between the Piano, Bass and Drums are perfect. At 0:37 and again at 0:55 what ever is playing behind the rhythm section is lost. That needs to come up in the mix. At 1:14 the synth needs to come up, at 1:34 and 1:52 the melody that is playing needs to come up in the mix. At 2:11 the bell sound is also lost and needs to come up. At 2:29 the synth needs to come up again. The overall strings (the legato strings) are good in the mix. Again at 3:42 the synth needs to come up. The fade should start later (not so soon) and fade quicker, as it seemed to fade for quite a long time (4:30 - 4:52 is a 22 second fade, which is way too long). So, basically everything except the Piano, Bass, Drums and legato strings need to come up in the mix. When I listen to this at a louder volume, it seems to be better. The mix should be equally as good when listening at different volume levels. As I said before, this is a GREAT tune. Good luck with it. Keep up the good work!!!
