David The lyrics to "I have seen the angels singing" are beautiful. I also listened to "I WIll" good song too. ...I have an "I Wil"l on my list to .... give it a listen. :)
Hey there friend David, so we meet again. thanks for reviewing my very vintage song, Country Christians. FYI, Aunt Glade in the song fell off her porch and broke her shoulder this past week, so if you are a praying man, say a prayer for her. She doesn't teach Sunday School anymore but she sews up a storm for Jesus and this broken shoulder has really put a crimp on her do it style. I think she is 83 now? Anyway, it was a very sweet review and I appreciate your kind thoughts. I am heading out on a big tour to Indiana and giving a songwriting seminar to boot, so big plans are in the works. Also I released my new CD, NanaTunes. All the songs are at the top of my page if you wanna take a listen. Have a great day in my home state of CA! Mrs. Kate
Hey Kate,Indiana is my home from Bloomington, my birth placce to Indy where I founded Indy-prov, still going and growing.' you might drop my name there or Peewinkles Play House right up your aLLey and say hi to HEIDIE Or peggy...and Ill pray for you and grandma; OK?
thanks David! Mrs. Kate
Thanks for the review of Tennessee Tonight. I agree with you, it could use some dynamics. I basically just started writing songs even though I played for years, and that one was my first one. I may revisit it later, but for now, the stuff keeps churning out. Hopefully they are getting better haha.
You're welcome, Dallas. You got it all goin' on; now get us goin'! All the best, David
Nothing feels quite as nice as hearing someone heard my song...and liked the experience. So, thank you for that and YOUR wonderful song, "Set Me Free" It's perfect!
Your welcome. You write lovely songs
Thanks for the review, Mark. I especially enjoyed discovering YOUR music! so dreamy
You're very welcome David, it was a pleasure to review your song.
Mrs.Kate, I've been in daze since reading your awesome review, but it's high time I come to and thank you three times at least till I find words to convey how good you made me feel! All good things surround you, David
You're a great writer, David and the praise is well-deserved. Keep it up, buddy! Mrs Kate
David, thanx 4 reviewing my "Clubbin' It Up" track - I was dying laughing when I saw your opening comment "was worn out by the ending..." I performed the track as a small piece (showing the various ways it could be used for a commercial) that's why I never changed the melody (but changed the instruments approach to the melody) I apologize 4 that (LOL, LOL, LOL) !!! If I ever use this track commercially, I'll make remix it with melody change over(s) I promise... Gee.Notez
Right now, I'm sitting in my wheelchair in a four -bed hospice room, writing a new song at my little tray table desk with my HP laptop, my Android cell phone, which I can use to harmonize using Sound Cloud and then Skype recording sessions in Nashville. It's amazing to me that I now have 2 songs in the Top Ten Holiday genre, one in Mixed Vocals, one in Country Religious and another in Spoken Word... all 5 since March, from this small space with help and encouragement from my volunteer caregiver, David Melby-Gibbons. When he first walked in carrying a guitar, I knew divine order was manifesting. And so it is! After hearing the 3 newest demos, "I Don't Want to Live Forever", "Hate to Have to Love Yo u, But I Do" and "Lovin' Over Budget"(#7 Mixed Vocals), I've been given the green light to record 10 MORE! That and feedback from you all -- especially you, Mrs. Kate -- makes me look forward to getting up and back in my chair.... I'm blessed with all the free time...my typing is cursed by PD. Hey thanks for the great review o f "I Will Get Over"! If you like that "Mad choir" kind of thing, you might like where the Aids Anthem - "Once Again" - takes you... or, something with similar gusto without a choir..."I Have Seen the Angels Singing".
Kate, All I could gather frolm my screwy yahoo mail is that you need my email address for something. THat's enough to get me started: dbruhoehler@yahoo.com and DaveyB729@gmail.com. I'm so curious now,
Hey Kate, Thanks a million for the great review of "Every Morning"! Funny thing, looking back on it now, I see the song in a new light re who the singer is giving thanks to! OMG...an accidental hymn! Oh, one story lover to another; you might like "Dallas" for its twisted ending, and "A Little More Country" for your family. I'll keep an eye out for your new Children's CD. Best wishes, high hopes and happy thoughts, David

Good one David (can't stop thankin), no pun intended I'm sure! Guess you caught me red handed; I'm an inner sinner too. Good song, and I wish you the best with it. I will check out your Dallas song tomorrow.
I'm thinkin'bout thankin' you big time for your comments, review and your great song that inspired this comment. I just climbed onto my first Top Ten list with "I Have Seen the Angels Singing" - Country Religious Genre - sung by the same guy who did "Long Beach".FWIT, Best yet, David
No problem David. Congrats on "I Have Seen Angels Sing" too. Took a listen to it as well. Nice job!

Hey Joe, Your review came right on time to make my day. Thank you!
Thanks for the cool review of our track "Bambino Gesu on a Holy Night" - our jazz medley produced for our concept album of historical Holiday music, fused to a modern spin. Cheers.
HI DAVID , THANKS FOR THE PRAISE, I LOVE THE SONG, BUT HERES WHAT IT NEEDS. BRING UP VOCAL TWO NOTCHES/ BRING DOWN GIT.ONE OR TWO / BRING IN DRUMS MUCH SOONER. IT LEAVES THE LISTNER HANGING WAY TO LONG. GREAT VOCAL AND ARRANGEMENT.GREAT SONG, GOOD LUCK, LOU PENTA { THE CALIFORNIA COWBOY }
i'Ie got to thank you for your last two reviews. They're spot on, I must say, like so many of your songs I admire. I 'd like to hear what you think about "Make Sure You Make It Christmas" when you've got 3-4 minutes. Thanks again, David
Hey, Chet Nichols, I'm still looking for a recording of my song, "You'll Feel Wichita". I know it sounds stupid, but for the life of me. no copy can be found - even calling around The Chamber, University Archives and Paul Harvey news show -- and ASCAP. If You can lead me to someone who has it you would make this Hoosier very happy. BTW Check out my new Christmas Song, "Make Sure You Make It Christmas". It still needs bass and female vocals before I submit it, but I''M PUTTING THE WORD OUT EARLY BECAUSE SALES OF THIS CD ARE GOING TO BE GIVEN TO THE MICHAEL j. FOX FOUNDATION FOR PARKINSON'S RESEARCH. If you could see me you'd know why. Anyway let me know if any leads come up for Wichita's song and any feel for where to submit MSYMIC would be most appreciated ! Happy Halloween, and many thanks, David
HI David, I am and inductee in The Kansas Music Hall of Fame...... I loved the lyrics. You should stop by my website and give my music a listen....check out the albums, "Waving Prairie" and "Modern Progress".... Best Chet Nichols
