Kelly Thanks for kind words listening to "End Of The Road". I appreciate it! Take Care! Steve Dafoe
Thanks for your review of "Healing Garden". It's probably my most unique song and closer to New Age than the others, but it's from the heart! Love your music. It's simple and raw and that's refreshing for a change!
Thanks for taking the time to review my song "Feminine Devine". Always appreciate the input. Listening to some of your stuff now. Very nice. Mike
Hey KD! Thanks for your review of my tune, Overdose. Grooving to your tunes, babe. Sending you a Friend Request to lead you from the Forrest to the Light! St. Nick
Hi KD, thanks for reviewing "Sister". This was recorded in the late 90's, but thought i'd throw it up on here. Anyways, yes, the phrasing....the producer (also the piano player) is Michael Creber (k.d.Land, the Rankins). It was hilarious because his wife is a friend and vocal coach. She hates my phrasing and begged to teach me different, so we went with that......glad you liked it, don't know how I did it myself, it wasn't natural for me :D
Loved your songs Glenda. Saw your link on Twitter and was sent here. My husband and I are Broadjams member too, KD Forrestal. God bless you and your mission!
Thank you for your encouragement and God Bless you as well.
Thanks for the review. I appreciate your thoroughness and sensitivity. I know it is still rough around the edges, just wanted to get some feedback. Will work on perfecting the layered vocals. Be blessed.
Thanks for the review. My music has been compared to Sinead O'Connor and Neko Case also, so it helps me see that my concept is coming through, although I am still a little rough around the edges!
Thanks so much for the fair and honest review. I appreciate the thoroughness and the encouragment as well as the truly "constructive critcism! Your music sounds great, well recorded, sung and arranged!
Thanks for the review. No offense taken. It's my first song that I totally wrote from melody to chords to arrangement and I know it's not perfect. I am going to be working with my choir director (who studied both here and in London) to get my voice to where it needs to be. Be blessed.
Keep writing, singing and creating. You are an inspiration.
Thanks for the review. I appreciated the thoroughness, especially on the voice. This is only the second song I've ever written. Have had vocal training but still trying to pinpoint the issues that need correcting. Be blessed!
Thanks KD, I appreciate the encouragement and the prayers.. I dislike the commercial side of the evangelical music business and yet I need money to record the songs... kind of a vicious circle there I'm afraid.. But if you hear of a producer or somebody that is more in to the message than the market, please let me know. Thanks again for taking the time to listen.
thank you for the review.Have a grat day! C.L.music Claude
Thanks so much for your comment...keep up the good work
Thanks for the review. Enjoyed your music, has great energy. New England Nights was bringing back memories of life in CT. Welcome to the Broadjam family!
Thanks a lot for your recent and kind review of "Another Christmas Is Here". Your scores, comments and suggestions are all very much appreciated. "How will you celebrate His birth" as opposed to "How will you celebrate this year". I just wanted to make sure you had the correct lyrics. Thanks again. BB/NPM.
Thank you so much for the great review. Your music is positive and uplifting, shows the soft side of rap with an edge! Love it!
Growing pains is a beautiful song. Reminds me of Cat Stevens.
Thank you
Just wanted to give you a tip on reviews. 1's should be used very sparingly. If you are judging a different style of music, try to keep in mind what that style is about. You got the genre right folk/rock, which means there will be story telling, but it might be a little deeper than country, yet not as obscure as some Rock can be. My lyrics use a lot of symbolism. I am a published author and excel in English, so a 1 on lyrics is ridiculous. Broadjam has all kinds of artists from all kinds of backgrounds. Be sensitive to that and try to look at "potential" for the song, and recognize that there are several different venues besides mainstream. Broadjam is a community and we all need encouragment as well as opportunity.
Sorry if I did a review wrong. I'm not sure which song we are talking about but I meant no disrespect. I'm new to this. Thanks for the tip though. I will definitely keep it in mind
