Hey Stephen. Email me at NeilEbanks@makemeasong.com. I had a hard time getting to this page and writing you back on Broadjam. It's not very user friendly - or maybe I'm just a dumbass. lol. Anyway, to answer your question, I emailed her early Oct for an update and she said, "Not happening this week and you should have received an email last week?? I'm here now fulfilling the lyric winner prize and Kenny/Elliot Root will be cutting/releasing singles by end of December. The showcase was shelved because the other winner decided to take the money as well.". So, I guess it's postponed for another couple months. Email me back on email. Later. Neil
hi Neil, congratulation man on the elliot roots contest....good job
Thanks plenty, man. I appreciate the props! :)
Hey Stephen. Congrats on winning the Elliot Root original song. Great song. I won the "Write to Track" side of it so we'll be hanging out soon. :) We should get in touch and collaborate! Neil - NeilEbanks@Makemeasong.com 954.558.3511
Hi Neil, Congrads to you also man!!! It's cool because both songs have really great messages , especially for these times. I have to also say and give huge credit to my best friends and songwriting / studio partners in crime Steve Webb and James Harris. They had bigger parts in writting this particular song than I did, Steve W. being the biggest part, but they were too lazy, skeptical, and maybe discouraged by the industry, to go about bothering with Broadjam or any kind of contest thing. I'm newer into the song writing thing than them and have won a couple of contests, so I guess I was more gungho and most of all I really, really loved and believed in the tune and thought it was really right for this Band. Sometimes you gotta go with that strong gut hunch, ya know. We'll be in touch and probably see you in N.Ville at some point. Hopefully most of all, this kind of "break" can be a good opprotunity for a writer to make connections in the industry and have someone to show their arsenal of songs to. yes? Good job on the song man. s
Hi Neil, Just curious if you've heard anything from Kenny Lamb or Songsinc regarding the contest winning. We've spoken with Andrea and I guess they are trying to make plans for September. Kenny was suppose to call us regarding this and a possible "re-write" of course, as "always", they want a piece of that action. Just checking and comparing notes. have you had contact with the band? thanks s
Neil, What's your status with the Elliot Root band contest win?? Did you take the $500 ?? Are you going to Nashville? We took the $500 and havnet heard a thing about them recording the tune. all the best s
Congratulations on your win...Beautiful song! Robert
Thanks Robert! :)
Sanctuary is great, man. I don't think the other two have a chance against that one. Congrats in advance, on the placement. Neil Ebanks
Hi Sam - Congratulations on having had one or more of your songs "selected" from the pitch opportunities. I was wondering if you were ever contacted and if you feel that making pitches to Broadjam has been a good financial decision for you. Thank you, Donna donalarose@aol.com
Hi Terese, Thanks for the nice review of "So Cold". I actually do have a shorter "radio version". :) Your songs are very nice, as well. Neil
Thank you Neil! great to know, it was a good song!! Cheers!
Thank you for your well thought of critique, God Bless!
You are welcome, Lil Puf. If I can help you out, let me know. That is what I do all day for a living - help songwriters produce their songs in a contemporary style, radio broadcast ready. If you're ever interested, check out my samples on my site - www.makemeasong.com/demos . Good luck!
Hey Neil, thank so much for the great review of my song "The Dance Song". I appreciate your time and effort. Some other people have commented on my sound and synths being a little "dated", so I'm now working on making it more modern, but with my own twist. Thanks for the input. ~Lil Puf

Why thank you Neil, you commented about my SeaWind song... I'm sure you noticed it was done on a 4 track and transfered from a cassette onto a computer..pc, then tranfered again onto my mac...sheesh this was in 95?....did you listen to Barbie...same type of production but really fun...most of the other songs I have up are better quality..and most are either deep or fun or deeply fun...thanks so much for the comment. I can use all the interest I can get...:)
