Good song Randy.
Catchy for sure. Had a bit of a problem understanding some of the lyrics...maybe just my computer inadequacies? Like the light background instrumentation. Good job!
Thx for the feedback Randy. Which song are you referring to?
Love the variety in your songs. Look forward to hearing more.
thank you very much, Randy.
I'm impressed, I couldn't stop going from song to song. I have to stop now but will definitely come back for more.
Hi Randy, thanks so much for listening and writing to me! I appreciate your kind words. Just curious how did you find me my page :) I look forward to listening to some of your songs! -Laura
Thanks again Randy!
Hello there Randy, and thanks for the review of Porch Swing. I wrote it for a little old lady in my neighborhood, the first friend I met when we move to our little town of Callahan, FL. I usually tell her story when I perform this song live. I even bring a cat along (stuffed of course). Seniors love it. I have them meowing after I sing Cuddlin' with the cat. Pour on the country twang. Anyway, we built a house called Porch Swing Place. I have a CD by that name. Now we are selling our home and moving to IN. I will sure miss my porch swing. Singin' & smilin', Mrs. Kate Thanks again for the great review!
Nice feel. Nice story telling. I'll go listen to some more.
Thanks, Randy!
damn you have a sweet voice dude!! well written again, thanks for the listen! nice guitar work too btw...Warren Hein
delightful piece of work in the John Deere tune--you've done it all i see, so HUGE kudos to you sir, glad i listened. all the best, Warren Hein
Not sure how predictive text produced that combo sir! Was supposed to say by which time!
Thanks for reviewing Heart to Heart Randy, I appreciate the very constructive comments. I have pondered over this song since I first recorded it for the very reasons you give - monotony. Unfortunately to get the story to work, the lyrics in the bridge mean it has to come late on the song, by WooCommerce boredom sets in!! Due a rewrite so thanks for the push! Great review, thanks again.
Another nice tune.
I checked your first couple songs - very well written and you have a nice voice as well
Patti, Enjoyed your song On My Way Home. beautiful voice. I'll have to listen to more of your tunes.
Randy, Thank you so much!! I appreciate the feedback
Hi JD, Just saw you live in Meridian. I live in Marsing. Listened to your "Breathe" which I thoroughly enjoyed. Do you play locally somewhere?
Hi Randy, thanks for the comment. Sorry for the late reply, I miss a lot of these on here. I haven't taken my original stuff out lately so The Retreads (covers, which is likely who you saw me with) is my most active project right now. I'm hoping to do more with the original stuff, it's a matter of finding the right combination of songs and people since I write across a lot of genres... Thanks for the hello. Breathe is a personal favorite of mine.
Hi Randy, thank you! I do play out although most of the time it's on guitar and vocals for The Retreads (covers). I have 3 or 4 original projects going but none are actively performing right now - mostly studio focused work. I'm glad you enjoyed "Breathe." Thanks for writing! Best, -JD
cut the pedal steal lead in 1/2 and you're good to go. Nice tune!
Great sound. Nice mix....maybe add a more "non-traditional" harmony.?
Merlin. Beautiful guitar work , nice entertaining and intriguing tune.
Thank you, Randy!
Sorry lost my comment... Her voice works well with your lyrics and it's a pleasing, good to listen to song.
You'll Never Know.. Your singer shows some Taylor Swift influence.
Yes she does
I still miss her Kiss is reminiscent of early Brooks and Dunn. Enjoyed the tune.
Hello and thank you much--not good enough apparently for n-ville Thank you again!! Warren
Your King of Ransom deserves a full chorus backing you up. Nice tune.
Kristia is a beautiful story of a tune! This SHOULD be on the silver screen for sure. Send it out via Broadjam solicitations by people asking for songs. Go for it!!!
Thanks for the compliment and encouragement. God bless!
way back when certainly has the "Dylan' feel...vocally and arrangement wise. The song can be related to by sooo many people. good job.
Yo Randy, Thanks for the feedback. Always appreciate positive reinforcement. Later, JD
Maybe like the 'toy piano' version a bit better but just a good feeling tune.
Better Together is a great tune! Your description of the story behind it rings true to the music. I can hear it on the big screen for a number of movies. Great job.
If every things alright is a true and sad documentary of life today. I was expecting more build (instrumentation wise) at the end...but a good tune none the less.
These Barren Walls...great uplifting beat for a tale of memories and moving on. Nicely told, simply yet honestly as to how homes change our lives, what we share with the "walls".
Feels 'Irish' with appropriate instrumentation. Floating along we go. Cute, clever, unique and VERY enjoyable! "Only a Dream" is a real hit w/ me!
GREAT JOB!! "A ghost wrote" is exciting, clever and unique. You sure don't hear a lot of ghost tales nowadays! Awesome instrumentation..Nice job!
Appropriately titled, this song definitely has the "motorin' down the highway" beat and overall feel. Loved the ride.
Thanks, Randy...wrote it for a biker friend of mine. Of course, since then he's retired from cycling.
