Really love your song Let's Go Out and See the Lights
Thanks Glenda. I think it would be better with a female lead or possibly a duet.
I agree....someone like Sandy Patty singing duet with you would probably be a great collaboration.
My song "Let There be Light arranged for choir by the great Mark Hayes, just got picked up by J.W. Peppe, one of the largest and most influential music Publishers in the nation. They also awarded it the honor of being an Editor's Choice - which is the first place most music directors go When selecting music. Here I the link currently awaiting artwork and sample pages/mp3 demo: http://www.jwpepper.com/Let-There-Be-Light/10625084.item#.V4D1WBkpDqD 1
Very well done Rob, congratulations. Have just played it for the first time and can see why it has been lauded by the publishers. great work.
Have updated the True Friend mix to remove some glitches, improve the volume and make it a fuller sound. Comments welcome.

Hello Rob! Thank you very much for taking the time to listen, rate and add my new song "Beginning of the end" to your playlist ! I really appreciate your support. All the best!
Just got a nice and promising letter from Mark Hayes (the most popular arranger of Choral Music and so gifted as a composer, arranger and publisher) Here it is: "Rob, It's been a while since we've talked and I wanted to touch base with you about a few things. First and most important - J. W. Pepper, which is the largest and most influential music retailer in the country, has designated "Let There Be Light" an Editor's Choice! This is a big deal, because it says to the consumer that J.W. Pepper recommends this piece above others. Yours is the first Holmes Street Publishing piece that has received this honor, so I'm pumped as the publisher and also excited for you. I will be leading a choral reading session in a KC suburb July 16. Pepper picks the titles that will be read, and your song is on the list! I will really promote it. It will also be promoted on other J.W.Pepper reading sessions this summer!" I received an order for 50 copies from J.W. Pepper just yesterday, so that's good. They have put it on their website. They didn't have cover artwork when they posted it, but I sent that to them and they should have that in place soon. Here's the link:http://www.jwpepper.com/Let-There-Be-Light/10625084.item#.V1ImCmalxXQ 1 ...it is understandable that on a week like this, I cannot find earth for the clouds! Thank you Mark. All glory, honor and praise to God. This is a landmark moment in my life. I hope it inspires others to keep at it and make beautiful music for the world!
It's a beautiful song with a beautiful message. Well deserved Rob, Hank Thomas
here's wishing you continued success. . .
Thanks guys! and the same to you. I appreciate the comments. Mark now wants me to write for him so I got an assignment. I will have to step away from my movie cue mind and jump back in to great lyric writing. Not an easy task. I'm a little rusty.
Well done and good luck Rob.
Thank you Ionut for all the many stars and playlists you allow me. You are the best!
Always a pleasure Rob!
Thanks Cee.

You bet. It was a lucky find b/c I saw your comment on Bob's page and decided to listen. Outstanding work!
Something to discuss about reviewing other people's songs: where it asks "Would you like to hear more from this artist" when, if ever, would you put the lowest possible score of 1/5?
nope. That's just weird.
have had that happen in the past and came to the realization that vote had nothing to do with the validity of my persona, music or genre. what I do is not their cup of tea and they want B'jam to filter accordingly. done deal - in some cases, I NEVER wish to hear what others consider themselves good at. my cup of tea is all about taste. . .
I asked the question because I've just received a very strange review for one of my instrumental tracks with 4/5 in most categories but a 1 for Would you like to hear more from this artist. It's not that I was disappointed with regard to the actual song, I am very open to constructive criticism, it was more that the reviewer was quite comfortable to deliver what amounts to a slap in the face to go with the review. He commented "I feel like i have heard that song before though...many times." so I've just posted asking to tell me where so that I can obtain the royalties! It seems we do have something in common because I'm not ashamed to say I gave him a 1 in return for "Do you want this reviewer again"!! Bitchy? You bet!!
www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CvvKQMC9zE Hello If you have time check out my new recording. New songs coming out next week. Feel free to share or leave a comment. Have a good day!
