I have admired Scott's talent since I first heard his Batman theme to the 1989 mini-series, "The Untold Legend of the Batman", to this very day the catchiest and one of THE best Batman themes ever written and performed. --Drummer Bear (Mike Fass) Zangief from "Street Fighter: The Later Years"
thanks Neon - i really loved working on Batman -- i wrote the police academy animated series theme for the Fat Boys after that - - also great great fun. best, Scott
Hello Scott! I recorded a few songs in your studio in Austin years ago. Glad to see you're still making great music. I have few songs posted on MySpace and SoundCloud. Check them out when you get a chance. https://myspace.com/oldsoldierrecor ds
Sorry, I inadvertently added a space in my URL. Try this one. https://soundcloud.com/paul-fleming -16/where-is-the-justice?
hey Paul - I do remember you -- a classy guy writing songs for his wife - great to hear from you. Scott
Hey Samantha, Was listening to some of your tracks -- I really enjoy your singing. Your exceptional phrasing - it really adds beautiful breadth and color to your melodies... reminds me of the amazing Karen Carpenter, but still all your own. Glad to have found you - Refreshing:)) Best to you, Scott Tom Canfield
Hello Scott....thankyou very much for this comment...it's nice to know that somewhere out there someone likes my music! It's funny but you are the second person in the last week or so to say I remind them of Karen Carpenter......someone I think was a truly incredible performer and I could only hope to be half as good! Thanks again Scott and I enjoyed your music too.....wishing all the best:) Sam
Hi Sylvia-- Just wanted to say thank you for your positive remarks on "Northern Lights"... Luv your work - I especially appreciate the womans' perspective in your lyrics -- unambiguously raw and relative. I'll be listening... Scott
Scott, yes I really liked it. Thanks for your positive comments on my songs. It means a lot to me especially because I don't think I'm going to get anywhere in this music business. Sylvia
Hey Scott, thanks for your generous review on Want to be like That and good luck with your music. T&M Curious Grace
T & M, You're welcome and Thanks!! STC
Thanks for the review of "Give Your Back to Me". I checked out "Northern Lights". Great tune. I loved the vocal.
Hello Drew -- Jeez... what a great song and vocal... you're welcome. best, STC
Hey Scott - Thanks for the nice review of "Crazy Good Day." I checked out your songs--you're quite a singer! Look forward to hearing more.
Hey John - You're Welcome.. I checked out your tunes, you are a talented, hard worker. best to you, STC
Scott, Thanks for your kind words on Talk. Your work shines like the Northern Lights! - LovePop
You're welcome LovePop! and I appreciate the compliments... best, STC
Scott. Many thanks for your review of Beautiful Game - I'm thinking about the first verse lyrics now so will see what I can do. All the best to you from a rainy England Easter. Matt
Hello Matt- you're welcome.. also, your instrumentation score should have been 5/5.. I inadvertently clicked 3/5. so very sorry -- i should've been more careful. And, if you're happy w/your lyrics please don't change a word... I just thought the 'make-up' & 'toothbrush' stuff was improvable - but it's subjective. Bottom line:it is a great track, a genuine British Beauty. I would very much like to record it myself someday soon. Best to you, Scott
Thanks for your very nice review of my song: WHAT ARE WE DOING TONIGHT? the instrumental version. I really appreciate it. Sylvia
Hey Lori - - I think your song 'Beautiful' is one of the finest on Broadjam (lyrically AND musically). Really glad I came across it. Best, Scott Tom Canfield.
Hey Scott, Thank you. That really means a lot to me because that song sums up my relationship with my ex, so it's really personal. :) I'm glad you liked it. Best, Lori
BTW, have you had any success on here?
Scott! Thank you so much for reviewing 'Vagabond from Finland' and for all your positive comments. Much appreciated and all taken on board ;-) tx
Hi Scott, Thanks for your excellent review of "Soul Sync", your suggestions were outstanding! I am a drummer and my melodic knowledge is well... limited. I love your ideas of the major and minor 9's and 11's, just wish I was savvy enough to lay it down. Maybe we should collab on something, my groove & your chord structure. Thanks again for the very fair and insightful review. Dave - CenterPeace
Hey Simona - I really like Bonsai Dream. One of these days I'm going to record some songs of other Broadjam writers. This would be beautiful to sing. Best to you... Scottttt
Thank you, Scott! Feel free to record "Bonsai Dream", I can't wait hearing a male version! :)
Thanks for your review on my track So b it..
you're welcome Onre -- very listenable work you do...
Thanks again your comments are always welcome.
Hey Robert- I went back to visit your photography site and didn't realize there were so many more masterpieces in your gallery! It's like going on a classy acid trip, if there is such a thing! High end spectacular images. Great work. I hope you make lots of money selling prints- better shot at that than with music these days, lol. But you should be able to get your hooky tracks into film easily if you haven't already.
http://www.capturemyvermont.com/users/robertadams 1 1 Here's that link again so your followers can see the other side of you ;0)
Thanks again, Susan. I hope I make lots of money too, so I can spend 10 hours a day practicing my guitar. On those photos; I like to think of it as a sophisticated, elegant acid trip, but I'll take "classy." I really appreciate the boost, as I'm thinking about marketing.
Thanks, Susan, for posting the link, I just found out about Robert's passion for micro-photography! Mind-blowing beauty, that's what I saw looking at those pictures... Robert, you're really great at what you do!
Hey Robert - I hope you make a lot of money too!! and me too :))))))))))))
Simona - I really appreciate what you said and how you phrased it. I'm just passing from my "just having fun with it" phase to my learning the technical aspects and using the right equipment phase. So I hope to make more, and better images as time goes on. Thanks for the encouragement along the way. Scott - I hope I do, and you do, and we all make a lot of money this year, but... as trite as it sounds, I have to say that most of us here are already extremely lucky to have a passion for what we do (making music). There's a lot of talk about licensing opportunities and making it in the music world, but doing what you love, even if you never make a penny at it is one of the most profoundly fulfilling aspects of life. We already ARE the lucky ones. Susan - Thank you again for taking the interest to check my work out, and posting as you did. So very kind.
Exactly, we are the lucky ones. It's really a privilege to be able to give time to any form of art that we're passionate about! That's food for the soul and it's free (oh well, not entirely, if I think about all the software and hardware I bought for recording my music :))!
mona lisa'a smile--really nice song--i gave it 5 stars--nice to hear a tamborine in a composition like this--nice touch--cheers--joe.
Thanks Nashville Joe - you gotta good heart -- Best, Scott
Your song 'Mona Lisa's Smile' made me feel good inside Scott. And isn't that what music is all about? God keep you blessed. With respect, Gabriella ;)
Hello BBNB, been offline for a month or so, just saw your comment - what a classy compliment - thanks so much. I listen to and enjoy your work too, and congrats on recent top ten entry.. â'«â'ªâ'«
Thanx again Scott for the review of that classical track , may you get some idea from the details of the track in the profile , and I should say I just wanted to show the idea and I do not have any performance of that track yet , so it is just a simulation ... Thanks again .
Hi , Thank you scott for the nice review . I think you made a mistake to recognizing the sound of woodwind instrument owing to my mix , it was not good , I didn't use woodwinds in that work but I know that the mix is so bad and I am mixing it again , in one or two weex I will upload the new mix here ... Thanx again , Best .
Thank you for your review of my song, "She's So Seventeen." Happy holidays!
my song--royal ride--thanks for the peppy review--cheers--joe.
You're welcome Joe! Good luck with your song... (hey really liked the singer's voice on that one).
Love you music and lyrics...beautiful!! greetzz, Till
Thank You Till - You're a kind, classy lady. Scott
My pleasure, Scott :-)
Hi Scott, many thanks for your gracious review of 'Gonna make you mine', I need a finer mix of the thing and was playing aroung with a trial version of auto-tune when this was recorded, there are lots of things I am not happy with but it is good to get 3rd party peer opinions that are valuable to me. by, the way I liked you songs also, your voice stands out with them and your vox harmonies are spot on, got a maroon 5 vibe from ' a beat she can dance to'. Kind regards, Dave
my pleasure Dave, and thank u for lisnin to my songs. i do appreciate the compliments too...
Thanks so much for taking the time to review and comment on our track "Medieval Carol in Baraque." This track is part of a larger volume of work, our concept album "revamping" historical Holiday music - a fusion of period instruments with modern World beats and Electronica synths. I would agree, often the classical period instruments are the better in the mix!
Scott, thanks for your review of RUSH RUSH HOME OH YEAH. I have tHREE new versions: COME ON HOME BABY, COME ON HOME, AND RUSH RUSH HOME-2-. I'm the lyricist and I didn't like what she did with the chorus.
Hello Sylvia - on Rush Rush Home 2, the hook at 1:05 is really sweet. All you're versions are terrific, but that's what resonates most for me, and what makes me want to hear it again. . I'm hoping that's the kind of feedback you need - - and congrats on your other well deserved top tens. Best, Scott
thanks for the review..I had almost foregotten about this song. I am going to rework it..thanks
Hi Scott. Thanks for the review of my tune "Proxima Centauri." I appreciate the scores and your comments.

Scott, Just wanted to drop you a note & say thanks for reviewing "The Love You Leave" last week. As writers, you know we all pour our soul into everything we do, so it's really nice to hear encouraging words. It's much appreciated. Best of luck to you as well. Chris
You're welcome, Chris. Had a chance to listen to other tracks of yours too - you guys are workin' hard. Best to you, Scott
