Hey Floris, Congratulations on your new baby. That is certainly going to change your life for sure. My music has been on the back burner lately due to job situations and holidays. Things are about to settle down now and time to get back to work. I have a lot of ideas I will put down to sound soon. but first I am going to finish the vocals I promised you and finish a song I am working on with Jay Carney. Be looking for something in the drop box as early as next week. It is time to put these projects on the front burner and get cooking. Again, Congrats on the new addition to your family. Hey David, How's life and songwriting? I noticed that you haven't added any new songs recently. Have you locked yourself in your studio, to release a full album all in once :P. How is your voice doing? has it fully recovered? I became a father last month of a beautiful daughter, Esmee Jennifer. Life changing and a very beautiful expirience! (need to compensate for the awewome studio you bought last year! :P ) Great to hear that the ideas are flowing, looking forward to listening to some new sounds coming from your studio... Thanks for taking the time to still do the vocals for my song, but no hurry whatsoever. Most of the songs I write, lay still for quite some time, sometimes even for years, but As soon as it is finished, I will send it to the song of the year competition for 2012 (maybe this song will get to that 1st place :) maybe you should enter in one of these competitions with your own songs as well! The entry fee is a bit steep, but it's fun. talk to you soon!
Hey Floris... Voice back to normal and I have almost learned the song. should have you something soon. That upper respiratory infection I contracted lasted longer than I expected...glad to be over that one. Peace David

Hey TT, I hope you are well....My apologies for the blog issues. We updated our software and found some issues with the new versions. Hopefully things are back to normal. I'd be curious to see your Top 10 as I've always liked your stuff. You should be able to access it now......Regarding covers: We do pay our performance royalties so it's ok to post covers on Broadjam. If you decide to sell them, you should attain the appropriate licenses from the publishers......All the best, Roy

Its nice to get away from remixing and engineering for a little while... Not that I don't love it, its just occasionally I enjoy just doing my own thing. This package is simply fantastic. I did both the new tracks over a 10 hour period and am honestly just getting started. Once I familiarize myself with all of the timbres at my disposal and how to utilize them... I expect my best work will come from it. I'm just so grateful right now. I feel really blessed... Best: N

Jen was simply astonishing... And Hjay, against my nature, asked me to provide a cut that could allow reviewers to appreciate her talents without the distractions of synthesizers, loops, or sound design to tarnish her brilliant performance. 'He was right... and has since convinced me that maybe producing work that isn't industrial orientated just might be worth entertaining. We still despise the Evil forces of Disney though... But certainly understand why so many producers opt to work in that format after hearing the results for ourselves. Its a new dawn... Its a new day... Its a new Archive. N
....so, i just took a long nap, and when i work up, i'm suddenly feeling all soft and furry. it was a "bear" of a nap!! .....oh well, think i'll climb a tree and sing a song about gum drops
