You are world class mate, these songs are awesome!
Hi Tom, great songs mate, really enjoyed them. John
thank you VERY much. That made my day.
You earned my ears my friend.
Tom, Lad. It is not often that you find someone who does songs better than you do. No Anger is my motto. Jim Pearson and I collaborated on one of my songs, NO MORE, and Jim sings it better than I could. My own Troubled Tears is my No Anger, but cannot hold a candle to the beauty of soul in all your work. I extend the Olive Branch of Friendship, as it helps everyone get more plays, and your music needs to be heard! Thanks, - Nick
Nick thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I appreciate that, friendship accepted!
Tom..."Over You" is such a gorgeous song. I added it to my playlist a while ago, and just listened to it again. Glad I kept track of it. So perfect in so many ways.
Congratulations on some lovely songs and performances. I found you via random linkages and reviews. All the best from Jim.
thank you, Jim.
Connor and Cody.... BEAUTIFUL!
Thanks Tom, that's a special one.
I love "Over You". I submitted a couple songs, but this one of yours is great. Good luck with it. Jim Purtell
Jim, thank you very much! I appreciate that. Hopefully this one works out for me. Good luck to you.
thank you, not only for the review, but the wondrous noise you make that must be celebrated as the songs of our time. such glad wishes for you and your music I send to Austin TX.
Hi Tom Thanks for the review of "La Noce". My vocals are not really good enough to be pushed forward too much in the mix but I take your point about not getting the lyrics over. Really love your songs on Broadjam. Also love the clear sparse instrumentation and clear separation on the production. If I could play and sing like you, I'd do the same. Thanks again and keep on crafting those songs. I've downloaded the lot. Regards Francis GRAVES (Broadjam band: RAFT)
Tom Thanks for the very positive and encouraging review of my tune, 'Wilderness'. Just had a listen to your beautiful, 'Over You'. High praise indeed. Respect and thanks.
Thanks for the stellar review of EVERYTIME... I like that song a lot too:-) Best to you!!!! Peace, Robert
"The Only Secret Safe With You" is a freakin great song! Nicely done.
Thanks Tom, it's nice to hear that from someone I don't know! I checked out the songs you had posted too - very nice stuff.
"Easy With You" came up during a peer review. Went digging to try to find it so I could get it added to my playlist. Maybe a few too many syllables in the 3rd line of 1st verse, but I love this song, and the production is sweet. Really nice tune!
Thanks Tom, much appreciated. Checked out your page, and really like "You Never Know"!
i really like your song Smile.
really like your song Closing In.
Thanks Tom! It is one of our favourite tracks. Cheers, David
Hey Tom, Chet Nichols, again. Thanks for the kind review of my song, "Hollywood, Hollywood". It is a fan-favorite tune...and one of my favorites, too. Having spent years in and out of Hollywood, I know her glistening tan-side and her reptilian underbelly. I also love the "quirky" guitar work. I wanted the intro to be something a stripper would make her "entrance" on stage with. It was inspired by Bernie Landon's work with The Eagles. Have a nice weekend. Chet Nichols
Hey Tom; thanks for your great review of "Dreamers and Children". There is a slight auto-tune on it, but the vibrato is all mine! Thanks again for your comments. Cliff Rubin http://cliffrubinmusic.com
Hi Tom, Do you know Jim Stringer in Austin? Thanks for the kind review of my tune, "Kites In The County". The song was recorded in one take and with no rehearsal. Zakir Hussein, Ali Akbar Khan's son (Ravi Shanker) played the tabla. It comes from my second CD, "Waving Prairie". Hear more at .... http://www.broadjam.com/chetnichols ....
Thanks for the review of my song "Over You" , I listened to your stuff and it's great. So, i was hoping (if you have free time) you might give me some lyrical suggestions. You mentioned in the review that there could be some lyrical tweaks... and I agree. I think you're a great writer so any suggestions would be awesome. Thanks for the great review. -- tom
Say it different, say it from your heart. Your music is good, don't let it down. Remember what your writing for......Mom, Dad, that girl you have or have'nt met. If you have to do it over a hundred times.....it's worth it. Being great takes 20,000 tries. Thats some good information to have. Best of life, love and music Tom. Jefferson Hendricks
Tom. Thank you for your very positive review of my song ' Out on the Road'. I really appreciated that.
