I've been taking production cues from Sara Carter who produced The Cure (can't go wrong with that!). I see you visited Randall Mark. "Wonder Boy" is a delightful fluffy young teen story as well as a great song! My favorite of his is "Little Bird" with KatyLynn, a mesmerizing, beautiful song with shades of Joni Mitchell. Warren Hein put up an EDM tune with easy punchy dance lyrics and infectious melody, "Let's Dance (We Need It). Catch ya again, friend! John

Hi Tom, Thanks for a great and useful review of Rockin On Saturday Night. You are quite right about the need for some dynamic in the song and I really thought the same when I recently remastered it. My problem is that the chorus runs straight out of the verse - but that is my problem, not yours. Your comment has been really helpful and I will listen again to see where I can add a little light and shade. Just listened to Comeback Kid and loved it. It's well written, really well produced and performed. Was this recorded at home or (as I suspect) in a studio? Good luck with it. Bob

"Comeback Kid" is very positive and has a feel of it's own. Song of encouragement and looking at the good side even when it's very tough going. Nice one!
