A few words about me
I am a composer, songwriter and producer who has been working in the music industry for the best part of two decades. In that time, I have been fortunate to work with some of the best people around, including Mick Hucknall, Alison Moyet, Wendy & Lisa, Barrington Pheloung, Paul Greengrass, Primal Scream, All About Eve, and companies such as BBC TV and Radio, Polygram Publishing and Creation Records, to name but a few.
As a composer, I have written the scores to a number of short films, including 'All Friends Here', 'Duality' and documentaries such as West Pier: Underwater, Tales From Warsaw and One Last Look.
I have recently had success in the UK Songwriting Contest 2008 with two entries. Happy Sunday was a semi finalist in the Instrumental category and Always Comes Back To You was rewarded with a Highly Commended in the Adult Contemporary category. This contest is sponsored by The BRIT Trust, The British Academy of Composers and Songwriters, BBC Radio, amongst others.
As a composer of music used by Production Music Libraries, I have supplied music for TV, Radio, Promotional films and on one known occasion, 'on-hold' music for a call centre. Companies such as AKM Music, Platinum Music, Reactive Audio and Avocet Music hold some of my stuff, but check this site for the more recent work.
Currently, I am pitching for commissioned scores and song placement opportunities and to continue to produce music for a number of production music library companies. On top of all that, I still teach Music and Music Technology AS & A2 levels at Varndean Sixth Form College in Brighton.
