Dave Gedosh is a composer, and media artist currently working in the Oklahoma City area. His compositions range from acoumatic and electroacoustic music, electroacoustic music with live performers, video, and dance, to ambient, electronic, and rock. Sonically, his music is at times subtle, intricate, and flowing, and at other times profound and disconcerting, taking the listener on an evocative internal journey through a labyrinth of sound spaces, narratives, and contexts. He "heightened both my visual senses in all the beautifully organic sounds I heard and my aural senses in the images I viewed," Larry Austin, composer, Computer Music Journal.
Dave has composed pieces that have been programmed locally, nationally, and internationally at high profile conferences such as SEAMUS, ICMC, Bourges Festival Synthèse (IMEB), and the Zeppelin Festival, as well as in independent film and video. He has received awards from ASCAP, Bourges, and the Greater Denton Arts Council.
