I am a former IRS Agent and have always had a strong interest in music having attended college on a music scholarship. I began writing songs severals years ago but in earnest starting in 2004.
Much of the music has been provided by my brother, Ron Baker who was lead guitar for Charley Pride for many years. DEWAYNE BLACKWELL, writer of "Friends in Low Places", "Mr. Blue", "I'm Gonna Hire a Wino" and many more is a good personal friend and also lives in Ajijic, Mexico. Also, many of the songs listed have been co-written by myself and Carol Bedford, singer/songwriter/attorney. Carol Bedford also lives in Ajijic, Mexico.
One of our songs, "The Right Amount of Love" was written for the musical, "Let There Be Light" which premiered in Sept 2004 in Connecticut. Carol wrote all the rest of the music, lyrics and music for this musical about the life of Thomas Edison which by todays standards would be labeled with ADD, Attention Deficit Disorder.
