D.V. Alias Khryst is no newcomer to the industry. Having been surrounded by music since the early days of hip-hop. Khryst sees no limit. His versatility, love for the art and ear for innovation have brought him to collaborate with some of hip-hop’s biggest Moguls. He has performed alongside acts such as Jay Z, Eminem, Ice-T, Wyclef Jean, The Black Eyed Peas, Mobb Deep, Red Man, Jarule, Mosdef and Talib Kweli just to name a few, while holding it down in the studio on albums such as De La Soul’s highly acclaimed “Art Official Intelligence”, Flip Mode former artist Lord Have Mercy on the Lyricist Lounge compilation and Method Man’s new L.P. He considers his sound to be therapeutic and believes that it has the power to heal those who can relate to what he has been through. He dedicates his continuous inspiration to his son who has taught him to appreciate life and is the reason he does what he does.
