Friday Light is a pop hued rock band whose proposal emerges from a liaison among the influence of rock, pop, electronics, as well as vocal lines, contrasting lyrics, with the concomitant effect of a different and original concept with subtle details that allure audiences.

Friday Light is born upon the breaking up of the band Viko and Babet were part of, a rock band whose material was distributed and promoted nationwide, sponsored by an independent label.

Friday Light started in February 2005, with Viko in the bass/vocals and sequences, Babet in the drums and chorus, as well as a supporting musician in the guitar.

The experience gained throughout the years and the myriad performances Viko and Babet have taken part in, are perceptible in the maturity of the material included in their first album called "VioletRed", recorded in September 2006.
