We don't need to go into lengths about the style or genre of FUZE or what they have to offer, just take a look and listen for yourself. The band is ready to ROCK and promises great sights and sounds...Period! We will, however, tell you how the band came to be.

The band FUZE actually started back in 2000. They played with many top local bands such as Lucid, Clintch, Flyreal, and semi-nationals Five Foot Thick. They also opened for a few National Acts such as Great White and LA Guns.

After just 4 weeks of completing the lineup, the band gained more than 300 Friends on their MySpace, started a very active Street Team, created a T-Shirt line, started working on their Debut EP, held steady in the Top 50 on EA Games Burnout BandSlam 2 of over 4600 bands, and started lining up shows for their Summer 2007 Debut performances.

Band Biography

We don't need to go into lengths about the style or genre of FUZE or what they have to offer, just take a look and listen for yourself. The band is ready to ROCK and promises great sights and sounds...Period! We will, however, tell you how the band came to be.

The band FUZE actually started back in 2000. They played with many top local bands such as Lucid, Clintch, Flyreal, and semi-nationals Five Foot Thick. They also opened for a few National Acts such as Great White and LA Guns.

After 3 years together, a 5 song EP, a Full-Length Album, and more than 100 shows across the region under their belt, the guys decided it was time to disband and move on.

Almost 4 years later, original drummer Leo (aka: Bucket) resurrected the band and asked long-time friend, Steven (aka: Axxeman), to play guitar. Steve and Leo had played together long before the intial run of FUZE, so things between them simply came natural. Bassist Todd (aka: Rush) from the local band One's Demise, offered to play Bass for the band. Axxeman and Rush played together before, so they already knew the vibe was right.

Finding a Vocalist in the Spokane area was no easy task. The guys wanted someone on the mic who could actually sing and not belt out the "Cookie Monster" vocals every second of the song which is so prominent in the area. Funny thing is, they met their current vocalist, Jordan (aka: Pigg Dogg), at a Karaoke Bar. Suprisingly enough, Jordan was a perfect fit to the lineup.

Things seem to be going in the right direction for FUZE. These guys are pumped, ready for action with no signs of slowing down. But we'll let you be the judge on whether or not FUZE is worthy of a solid fan-base.

Jordan (aka: Pig Dog) - Vocals

Pig Dog is the moniker of Jordan Burlingame, the vocalist/lyricist of FUZE.

In his debut recordings, it becomes clear that Pig Dog has lived in life’s trenches. His music and lyrics reflect the harsh reality of life’s highs and lows. Presented in a predominantly hard rock vein, his lyrics are compelling, intelligent, and intense. His dramatic vocal range lends a strong emotional impact to each song.

Pig Dog joined FUZE in early February 2007 after wowing the rest of the group with his strong melodies and lyric writing abilities. Stay tuned for more intense tune from Pig Dog and FUZE!

Steven (aka: Axxeman) - Guitars

From Coast to Coast, and other parts of the World, Steven Jaimz (aka: Axxeman) has been playing Guitar for 19 years and has been in several bands over that stretch of time.

When Axxeman writes his music, it usually comes from the heart and he tries to portray his feelings through his music. He's played a wide array of genres. From Gospel to Jazz and Country to Metal, Axxeman hopes that by sharing his music with others, it will touch them in a way no other song has done. "If it affects even just one person's life, then I have done a good job", Axxeman says.

Although Axxeman has written more than 200 songs on the guitar, most of them have seen the bottom of a trash can. His reason? "If it isn't memorable, moving, or has that certain groove that subliminally makes you get into the music, then I tend to leave it alone".

Stay tuned for more from Axxeman and FUZE!

Todd (aka: Rush) - Bass

For the last 10 years, Todd Harding (aka: Rush) has been tearing up the Northwest Music Scene. He's been playing Bass for nearly 16 years and has a slew of gear.

In 1992, Rush took Guitar Lessons from Mark Manners, a G.I.T. graduate, in Anchorage, AK. During that time, Mark had Rush play on stage a few times with his band in front of as much as 750 raving fans. Mark told Rush that he would probably end up playing Bass in his first band. Low and Behold, Mark was right! Fortunately for FUZE, Rush has been playing Bass ever since. However, learning Guitar and all the Guitar scales only helped Rush become a better Bassist.

Rush says that "it's been a struggle", but now he has "found the right group of guys". Rush has fun while he's playing and it shows through his performance. Stay tuned for more from Rush and FUZE!
