American musician/singer/songwriter Gelon was born in North Carolina and grew up in New Orleans. Early influences include the Beatles, the Stones, the Who, the Kinks, as well as John Lee Hooker, Lighting Hopkins, Buddy Guy, and Willie Dixon.

Gelon has lived in Germany for several years, and has played and toured clubs and festivals in Germany, France, and the Netherlands.

Gelon's CD, "Beggars & Thieves" was released in Europe and the US in the summer of 2011. The 10 songs on the album were all written and performed by him.
