Born in Havana Cuba, and raised in Miami Florida, Gus has been writing in all different types of genre since the age of fifteen. In 1985 together with three other local musicians started a band project called “ Erotic Exotic”. After recording and releasing a song called “Take Me As I Am”. The song took off locally selling about 10,000 copies within the first 2 months. Four months after the song started to get regular airplay in South Florida radio, the band got the attention of Atlantic Records, and signed up for two singles (Take Me As I Am & L.O.V.E). The singles sold together about 80,000 copies.

Gus currently writes and produces music for film, tv, websites and for Artists in many different genres. He writes in English and Spanish, and has had several songs published by both major and independant companies.
