Mike Jackson is a songwriter whose first cut by Mac Wiseman was in the 80's, a song called "Countin' Pennies", which appeared on Mac's MCA/DOT Master Series Album. Today, Mike heads up HoneyRun, performing original material with Evan Lamberth on mandolin, Casey Morton on guitar, Joe Catoe on bass, Luke Munday on banjo, and Eddie Cooper on guitar and vocals. HoneyRun's first single release is "Red Checkered Shirt" and has been picked up by numerous radio and internet streaming bluegrass programs across the country and abroad.
