Jay Pounders
I was born in Birmingham, Alabama and raised in and around Memphis, Tennessee. After spending a year living with my sister and sailor brother-in-law in Spain when I was 11 years old, my mother and I followed my sister and her family to South Florida when I was about high school age. I lived in the New Jersey / New York area for about 15 years where I was the singer/songwriter with Crossfire Choir (Geffen Records) and then moved to Los Angeles for about 15 years. In 2015, I moved to Nashville and now record and perform with my band, The Buckskin Stallions.
