The first instrument I learned was a drum kit, purchased by my dad at an auction when I was seven. As a teenager, I played drums in the school band and at church, added piano and guitar to my skill set, and began writing songs influenced by 90's female singer-songwriters like Tori Amos and the alternative acoustic worship music at my church.

Having put together several small collections of my own songs over the past decade, in 2012 I recorded an album called Ghost & Door Party with singer/songwriter/guitarist/priest Fr. Charles Klamut. The collaboration resulted in a sound we described as "existential alt-folk." The past few years have been particularly fruitful for me as a songwriter, and I recently released an EP of old and new songs.
