Originally from Central Ohio, Jim's songwriting has been described as feel good, from the heart "country story song strong".

He has written and performed since high school and college days at Ohio University at Athens where he earned his BBA in Finance.

Jim writes with co-writers in Nashville, Austin, Arkansas and California. He's actively involved in writer showcases, workshops and conferences, is a BMI songwriter and active member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI).
