Hi my name is Jim Whitt , Thank You for stoping by my Broadjam site . I'm A Bass Player of over 40 year's , in the late 60's I started . At the age of 13 , I was singing Beatles , Bee Gee's and other POP hit's of the day . We played alot of Radio Station Sock hop's at National Guard Armories across the State of Alabama , I was in HEAVEN . Then at 16 , I picked up the Bass AN NEVER HAVE PUT IT DOWN . Even though I've learned to play Guitar and Keyboards . In 1970 won the anual Labor Day Battle of The Bands , Playing Lead Zepplin Good Times Bad Times an 3 other song's off that albumn . Went on the next year to play in NATION , Did Lots of Hendrix , Santana , Crosby Still's & Nash .In 72 Started all original Band ( IDE BULLARD) Newly formed Capricorn Records Put us in studio for Demo Liked it , wanted more , but drummer Quit , before we could find and work in the New guy , Capricorn had signed Wet Wille , Marshall Tucker , & The Cowboy's , Tuff Luck . A Marriage and wonderful New Daughter Came into my Life , I Settled into a House Band (BOTELLER) in 1981 . Got a new Baby Boy in 78 so I didn't Travel much anymoe , Then my Divorce happened in 85 , I Quit for 3 years when my old friend called needing a Bass player So I Started Playing REGGAE with ( LOST IN THE MAIL ) in 1990 And traveled all over the south , 10 differenbt states as well as Air Jamaica 's Personal band for the south , Even took us to Jamacia where we played in NEGRIL at THE MARINERS INN RESORT for 2 weeks in 99 .
