J.M.Sutherland is a recording artist, studio owner and songwriter producing a wide variety of material from cover recordings to originals in multiple rock genres. He has a very adaptable voice with a fairly wide range.  He is also the brain child of Bass-centric Groovetank . A veteran of Guitar and Bass, classical education in private lessons from age 11 to 14, started his first band at 15 and very quickly made a mane for him self locally in the San Diego area. Switching to bass at around 17 after discovering a natural ability with the fingers on the right hand. Very good on Guitar, he is WORLD CLASS on Bass and continually focuses on his style and technique as the backdrop and driving creative force for all his grooves and songwriting.
