Project Six is a song writing, composition & production collaboration with John Connor & Andy Stokes.

We work generally with guest vocalists & occassionally guest musicians. We have hundreds of songs penned & ready for production & the up & coming View EP will be ready for release this August, containing the sample trax on this website.

Following this we have two further four-track EP's lined up for release in 2011.

John Connor

I was brought up surrounded by music & constantly found myself singing along to every song on the radio.

I always wanted to play an instrument with guitar being top of that list & had my first guitar bought for me at the age of 8...but I gave up as I couldn't keep up with the lessons on TV every Sunday morning.

At the grand age of 24, I was bought another...a Les paul copy. this sparked my interest again & I quickly picked it up, playing along with my favourite songs of the time. Then, one day a friend of mine was quietly playing a song in a bedroom we were all sitting in, drinking coffee & talking rubbish. I stopped & asked which song it was & he told me it was his. That was it! I had to write a song.

I got the bug & before I knew it had penned around 50 songs within a year...mostly rubbish admittedly, but god loves a trier as my nana used to say.

i never did anything with these songs but then a few years later, the same guy, Nicky, asked me if I'd be interested in letting his band use some of my songs...not something I had to think about. I went to meet with all of the guys & sang a few songs...they then asked me to be their front man.

Lobo was then born. We did many successful gigs over the couple of years we were togethere & had grerat feedback from the songs & performances...but alas, the band was to fall victim to unreliability.

Not letting it lie, Andy Stokes & I decided we were going to see how far we could take the songs.

we have since carried on writing & producing, whilst learning a few important things along the way, and here we are... ...Project Six Music.
