Stand Easy is a Celtic Rock band led by John McLean Allan.

Stand Easy have been heard on over 100 Radio Stations in the USA, Canada, Great Britain and Mexico.

John is a multi -instrumentalist and singer/songwriter who recently appeared in the Multiple Oscar winning "Million Dollar Baby" Playing Bagpipes. John placed 5 songs with Honda to promote the Honda Element. His compositions have also been heard on ABC TV and have been performed by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. He has performed with the Chieftains, Korn, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, Charlotte Church, the Tonight Show Band and at the Coachella Music Festival.
John has also played bagpipes in Austin Powers 2, Primary Colors, Judging Amy, West Wing, Providence and many other Film and T.V. situations.
