To date, I've released sixteen LP's and published four songbooks for piano/voice. You can preview and buy my music all over the Internet (iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, etc.).
I wrote an original musical (My Big Phat Gay Musical). Now I'm working on the sequel: "THE STELLAR GAYS SHOW."
I have just earned a fellowship from the Center for Colorado and the West and the Kenneth King Foundation to score the music for a series of Colorado History digital documentaries featuring the well-known "Dr. Colorado"! This is such a great honor for me as I consider Denver to be my true home. I have such a blessed life here.
In all my work, I strive to bring about the awareness of minorities, the GLBT community and gender issues. My goal as an artist is simply to transcribe my life experiences to the world as I see, hear and feel them. Everyone is unique, but that is also our common bond. That is why I share my perspective, so that we can all relate. I create to connect.

I come from the Great Plains of Kansas, where the state motto is: "Ad astra per aspera," which means, "To the stars, through difficulty." And I think God had me grow up there because She thought that a gay guy like me would have plenty of adversity from which to appreciate any future dreams fulfilled.
Almost 30 years later, I am astounded by how much creativity I have to offer the world. And I just got my Bachelor of Science in Vocal Performance at the University of Colorado Denver with top honors. (not like that really *means * anything ... or does it???? Mwahahahaha.) Here's me singing the National Anthem at my own graduation.

I wrote an original musical (My Big Phat Gay Musical) from top to bottom and then produced and starred in it at The Vintage Theatre last May. Now I'm working on the sequel: "THE STELLAR GAYS SHOW." I'm hoping to produce this new show for pride events during the summer as well as a local theatre house.
I'm performing as Frank in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (November) and Dickon in The Secret Garden (April 2010) for Curtains Up! Theatre Company. It's my first chance to work with kids since I was one myself. I have a gut feeling it will be good for me.
