I have been playing guitar and writing my own sons since I was 12. That was 1965. I fell in love with the folk music of the 60's - Dylan, Baez, PPM, Arlo Guthrie, Jim Croce and so many greats.
I recorded my first album "John Does His" in 1968, along with my friends Chris Schafehen and Jerry Scheffers. I was playing coffee houses every Friday and Saturday night. If I wasn't playing somewhere I was playing at home for my friends...and a 30 minute version of "Alice's Restaurant" was mandatory.
When I went away to school, slowly my music faded. Shame on me. I didn't play for too many years.
Around the year 2000, thanks to the encouragement from a friend in Germany, I began playing again. Then I began writing songs again and recording again.
"Amid All this Madness" was written not too long after 9/11. "Superstition Calls" is about my love for the state of Arizona and "Love of My Life" was a valentine's day gift for my wife.
I hope you enjoy it.

"Amid All this Madness" was written not too long after 9/11. "Angry Love" was written after the death of one of my closest friends. "Superstition Calls" is about my love for the state of Arizona and "Love of My Life" was a valentine's day gift for my wife.
My music is old school folk...melodic and acoustic, with a story to tell or something important to say.
I hope you enjoy it.
