Julia Messenger Biography

JULIA MESSENGER - SINGER

"Julia Messenger should be fighting off the offers- the dizzying force and passionate intensity of her voice, steering an unerring course between cruelty and cream, would merit the ticket price alone."
Sue Wilson, The Scotsman

It hasn't taken long for the exceptional Australian singer/songwriter and producer Julia Messenger to rapidly build a solid international name for herself. She has been consistently crowned by many in the U.S. as the 'Queen of Chill'. Born and raised in Melbourne, Julia has spent years touring and singing all over the globe and perfecting her unique vocal style.

Julia is unique in her ability as a vocalist and songwriter to metamorphosize across genres and break boundaries into new ground. This is largely due to the fact that she has a rare talent for it, and has chosen to live her life honouring it.

Throughout her career, Julia has caught the attention of many notable artists. Hi Julia, Wow, that is too bad that the show is not shown there yet. Well I don't know how much u know about the show, but it is the top rated show on the entire Oxygen network. so u song would have been heard by a couple million people. I did watch the episode with u song Stripped in it ! I don't think they played the vocals, only the instrumental portion of the song if my memory serves me right. The episode the song is in is titled
" Can't Teach Old Dogs New Tricks ". As for royalties since the original episode aired on 10-24-11 it has played about 5 more times and it will play again tomorrow 11-7-11. The current season, which is season 7 just ended on 10-31-11, but expect for them to run the episode with u song in it a bunch more times leading up to when season 8 starts early next year 2012 like they always do. That is just here in USA , not counting how many times the episode will be aired in the other countries the show is shown in! Hope that information helps u some!
