Kate Kohler has sung and played music for as long as she can remember. Her formal training encompasses composition, theory, conducting and arranging. She is skilled in many instruments, focusing on piano, voice and flute. Stylistically eclectic, she performs in multiple genres, but is most passionate about jazz and classical fusion.

She has two solo albums consisting of voice/piano and solo piano works. She performs solo and with her jazz trio and briefly toured with Equinox Theatre?s ?Improv, The Musical,? and has performed with many talented musicians. She has also worked with the MSU media department on film projects such as Rorschach.
