Known for his astute music-production skills and releasing the first single from rapper Sam Gotti through his MAKE Records imprint, L. Rockett is widely credited with establishing a musical platform for talented urban-music artists in the Upstate New York region.

L. Rockett currently heads the day-to-day operations at MAKE Entertainment Inc. which he founded in 2005. L. Rockett started MAKE Records as a recording company outlet in 2003 for recording talented local acts and eventually began attracting much of the current MAKE Entertainment Inc. roster by maintaining a professional, unyielding and quality-driven image for the company which now includes artist-management and music-publishing services into its repertoire.
