Nikki Doll has completed a 12 month Asia tour, where due to popular demand she received an extended residency to grace the majestic balcony atrium of The SuZhou Sheraton.
Destiny soon brought Nikki Doll and her all star band, The Voodoo Blue to enjoy a successful Summer season at Shanghai’s House of Blues & Jazz, where they played their hard rockin' show and famous Sunday Jam Session to packed houses of devoted fans & enthusiastic & eager to participate peers.
Upon closing night Nikki Doll & The Voodoo Blue were then invited to reign with their 'strong blues jazz edge' at Beijing’s hottest new venue, Icehouse.

HISTORY

A seasoned performer with a wealth of experience both 'on stage' and 'behind the scenes', Nikki Doll has been in the business from festivals to club dates, concert tours and residencies, corporate engagements & exclusive events, community workshops & commissioned projects along with various collaborations & studio recordings.

Including theatre, singer Nikki Doll has also acted, danced and sung the principal musical role of ?Yum Yum? in the Canterbury Theatre Guilds N.S.W. Premiere Production of ?The Hot Mikado?.
Nikki Doll has also worked in film such as ?The Island of Dr. Moreau? starring Marlon Brando under the direction of John Frankenheimer & movement choreographer, Peter Elliot.

One of ?Miss Doll?s? ventures was appearing as the feature lead vocalist of award winning swing dance band ?The Jive Bombers?. Their song ?Jungle Jive? was named MOST PERFORMED JAZZ WORK at The 75th Australasian Performing Right Association (APRA) 2000 taking them to headline in Rock ?n? Roll & Jazz festivals up the East Coast of Australia.

Having completed a Diploma of Contemporary Music at Eora Centre for Aboriginal Studies & Visual & Performing Arts, Nikki Doll, a natural harmony vocalist, is involved in the makings of various urban underground projects incorporating attributes of
a capella, spoken word, percussion, dance culture, puppetry, mask & mime, art design & costume creation.
Being chosen to sing with a traditional orchestra consisting of the 21 string kora, balefon, doun doun & djembe drums, Nikki Doll recorded a commissioned work for the ABC world music programme, 'Radio Delhi'.
