Phil has been writing and recording for a VERY long time. He has recorded for two major record labels (Paramount and Musicor) and been an exclusive songwriter for Peer Southern Music. He has only recently turned his attention to licensing.

Phil writes and produces all of his material himself, often working with a trusted network of skilled musicians and singers when a song calls for it. Far from functioning in a vacuum, Phil relies on a close circle of other producers and mix engineers to critique his work before releasing it.
