Multi-genre Singer/Songwriter
Phil began his singing career at the age of 14 with a local heavy metal band. By the age of 16, Phil and the band had begun recording demos, and by the age of 18 the band had dealings with 2 separate record companies. Both of these deals turned out to be sharks and cost the band both financially and spiritually.
Phil continued to play live with local rock covers bands, eventually joining the much lauded and hard-touring 'Blues Bunch' (a 7 piece blues/soul outfit) aged 25. Phil left the BB after two years and dropped out of the music scene altogether, save for the odd guest appearance and dep job.
In 2007, Phil bought a small 'studio-in-a-box' and penned a few songs. 'If You Were In Love With Me' was the one of the first of these to be finished and was a semi-finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest, together with winning 10 Garageband awards.
Phil is still quietly determined to eventually release a solo album, but to date has not decided on the tracks for release.
In 2008 Phil joined Swansea-based blues rock covers band 'The Journeymen', and has become widely regarded as one of the most talented and impressive vocalists on the South Wales music scene.
