I'm an English songwriter influenced by all things Americana, from Bill Monroe and the Carter Family to Okkervil River and anything by Eric D. Johnson. British stuff I love includes Belle and Sebastian, Slow Club and that 80s pop icon Howard Jones. It's all a bit of a mash-up. I used to write with a band called Stanley (www.stanleymusic.co.uk). We played about a hundred gigs in and around London between 2007 and 2009 and were also something of a hit with north American music bloggers and local radio stations. I'm now with My Lonely Ghost.
