Katy Steele was born and raised in Madison, and after several years living all over the U.S. (following her Navy sailor husband), she's back in Madison. A music fan since she learned how to work radio dials, Katy decided a few years ago that radio is where she needs to be. After tryng to figure out her best course of action, Katy enrolled in American Broadcasting School (best move of her life) and will soon be looking for the radio job of her dreams here in Madison. Although Katy is a true rock chick of the 80's, and still loves those hair metal bands, Katy loves all types of music and can't imagine her life without it, or imagine her car without a radio, satellite radio, MP3 player, CD player, and always a heap of CD's and even cassettes!
