I am Queensley and I am Music! O Yeah! Music to me is like breathing and I've been writing songs for about 20 years now!

I have 3 beautiful songs up. They really taste good in the ear.
My songs have also been making some broadjam top 10 charts! PLUS a lot of beautiful reviews!

I have also done a collabo with a broadjam member- starscreamsrevenge, remixing his song to give it a soulful taste!

I am open to working with other broadjam members.
Give me plain lyrics and i will put a song to it, give me plain instrumental and i will write a song for it, give me a song and i will remix it beautifully....that's just the music in me!

2007 UK songwriting contest

In the year 2007, for the first time, i took part in the UK songwriting contest with four of my songs.

Three out of the four songs made it to the semi-finals.
The semi-final categories were - The lyrics only category, The Jazz/ Blues category and Christian/Faith category.

While one finished in the Highly commended Entry lyrics only category.

Twas quite an experience!

'bout me

Born in Jos, Plateau state, Nigeria, Queensley is from Anambra State, the third child, in a family of five. Born into a family of music lovers, she grew up as an addict listener to soft rock, country, pop, and contemporary soul and jazz music. Influenced by artists and musicians such as Sting, Bryan Adams, Sarah Mclachlan, Madonna, Sade, Spice Girls, Enya, Yanni, Patty Obassey... just to mention a few, she has been able to sharpen her songwriting skills, allowing her write songs that cut across many song genres more especially the rock, soul and pop genres. She has been writing songs for about 20 years, writing songs that will positively inspire lives

A masters degree holder in Mathematics, Queensley is married with kids. Her hobbies include reading, football, solving puzzles and watching documentaries.
