About Us
Whilst recording her debut EP, Learning to be Lonely, Chicago-based singer/songwriter Rebecca Rego met drummer Stephanie Whiton. After countless hours of rehearsals, giant slices of Bacci pizza, and few bottles of whiskey, they began to mold and expand Rego's songs from their folky beginnings.. This past spring Rebecca turned to her roommate and occasional friend, Michael Biederman, to infuse their songs with bluesier-americana-esque guitar. After a string of bass player-driven broken hearts, Mike Przygoda, captivated the souls of REGO with his smooth fun-loving stylings....
REGO has been working on their first LP at Pragma Studios with engineer Ryan Staples for most of 2008. They released the two-songs "South Pole" and "After the War" in November and will release their first full-length record "A Sense of Wonder" in early 2009.
Somewhere along the line, a baby was born...
