My name is Ricardo Muñoz. I was born in 1985 and I live in The Netherlands. I study Media & Entertainment. Moreover, I am a singer / pianoplayer and started singing in 2002. I’m spending my time together with two friends of mine, Menno Hoomans and Nanno Van Ijsseldijk, writing songs and also recording a demo.

Ricardo Munoz BIO

Born in 1985 in Pforzheim, Germany, Ricardo Muñoz grew up in Eisingen and Stuttgart. Ricardo discovered the music when he first started playing the piano at the age of ten. At the age of thirteen he moved to Holland together with his two elder brothers and his mother.

In Holland, Ricardo joined his first band and has played in several bands ever since. When his brother and lead singer, Daniel Muñoz, left Holland to return to Germany Ricardo?s first band broke up and Ricardo started singing. After some months of practice, he became front man of the Indie/Pop/Rock band What About Joshua. Furthermore, in 2004 What About Joshua released their first demo CD with five tracks on it. In 2005 Ricardo started a solo project together with Menno Hoomans and Nanno Van Ijsseldijk. Inspired by musicians as John Mayer, Michael Bublé, Coldplay and The Rasmus, Ricardo is recording a demo CD which will include generally pop ballades. Moreover, Ricardo has started taking vocal classes to improve his singing technique.

Right now, Ricardo is studying Media & Entertainment Management in Leeuwarden and lives in Sneek with his brother Raul and their mother. In addition, Ricardo is part of a cover band in Groningen which is called Like This.
