Rolando Marchesini is an italian composer based in Milan.

He was involved with music early on when he began playing the mandolin at the age of 6.
Over the years he played in several bands and began writing music for his musical projects.
He has always broadened his horizons through different music genres, ranging from acoustic, electronic to orchestral, and film scoring was his definitely main interest.
He composed original scores for shorts, documentaries and advertising for italian and foreign production companies (Bionike,Atkinson,Lavazza, North Sails).
In 2008 Rolando composed the original score for the indipendent feature film "Tre Lire Primo Giorno" (Golden Palm Award and Best Foreign Film at the 2009 International Beverly Hills Film Festival) by Andrea Pellizzer.
In 2009 director Andrea Pellizzer commissioned Rolando to write the music for his second project, the documentary "Un Sogno Serio".
